A magyarországi reneszánsz művészet történetének jelentős problémáit oldotta meg a kutatás, és az eredményeket publikációk mutatják. Megjelent hat önálló kötet az NKFIH támogatásával. A legfontosabbak: Bocskay György kalligráfus monográfiája magyarul is és angolul is, a késő reneszánsz ötvösség története Magyarországon, az OSZK Bibliotheca Corvina-kiállításának tudományos katalógusa, és egy átfogó tanulmánygyűjtemény a magyar reneszánsz miniatúrafestészet és könyvművészet történetéről. 30 magyar és idegen nyelvű tanulmány dolgozott fel fontos részleteket. Megjelent például: Handó György könyvtára, a Jagelló-kori címereslevelek teljes korpusza, a Habsburg országrész késő reneszánsz művészetének problémái, a templomi képhasználat a reformáció időszakában, Verancsics Antal és a művészetek. A csoport részt vett két jelentős kiállításnak a munkálataiban: az egyiket a reformáció 500. évfordulójára rendezték (Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum), a másikat a Corvina könyvtár történetének problémái feltárására (Országos Széchényi Könyvtár). Valamennyi megjelent (és megjelenés előtt álló) folyóiratcikk, tanulmánygyűjtemény és önálló monográfia alapvető szakirodalma lesz a reneszánsz kutatásnak, és az összegyűlt anyag hasznos kiindulópontja lesz a további munkálatoknak.

The research solved significant problems of the history of Hungarian Renaissance art, and the results are shown in publications. Six volumes were published with the support of NKFIH. The most important are: the monograph on the calligrapher György Bocskay in both Hungarian and English, the history of late Renaissance gold and silversmithing in Hungary, the scientific catalog of the Bibliotheca Corvina exhibition, and a comprehensive collection of studies on the history of Hungarian Renaissance miniature painting and book art. 30 studies in Hungarian and foreign languages elaborated important details. For example: György Handó's library, the entire corpus of Jagiellonian illuminated grants of arms, the problems of late Renaissance art in the Habsburg Hungary, the use of images in church during the Reformation, Antal Verancsics and the arts have been published. The group took part in the works of two important exhibitions: one was organized for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation (Hungarian National Museum), the other to explore the problems of the history of the Corvina library (National Széchényi Library). All published (and forthcoming) journal articles, collections of studies, and monographs will be essential literature for Renaissance research, and the collected material will be a useful starting point for further work.
