A motivációnk az infrahang kutatás hazai bevezetése volt a természetes és mesterséges események elkülönítésével szeizmikus és infrahang adatok segítségével. A pontos helymeghatározáshoz, ami alapvető a diszkriminációhoz, az iLoc algoritmust alkalmazzuk, ami lehetővé teszi a szeizmikus és infrahang adatok együttes használatát. Megmutattuk, hogy az infrahang azimut mérések jelentősen növelik a helymeghatározás pontosságát. Recens szeizmikus aktivitást fedeztünk fel a Móri árokban. Állandó állomások, valamint az oda telepitett 3 ideiglenes állomás adatait és a subspace detektort használva olyan földrengés rajokat is detektálni tudtunk, amik szabad szemmel nem láthatók a szeizmogrammokon. Egy-állomásos szeizmikus diszkriminációs kritériumokat határoztunk meg, amely a lokális robbantásokat és földrengéseket 95%-os pontossággal különíti el. Gépi tanulási algoritmusokat tanítottunk meg robbantások, viharok és a Mátrai hőerőmű infrahang jeleinek elkülönítésére, és 97%-os megbízhatósággal azonosítottuk őket. Megalapítottuk a Kelet és Közép Európai Infrahang Hálózatot (CEEIN), ami jelentősen növeli az európai infrahang hálózat detekciós képességét. Azonosítottuk a koherens zaj forrásokat (Észak-Atlanti mikrobaromok), és a magasabb frekvenciás antropogén zajforrásokat. Kiadjuk a Magyar Szeizmo-Akusztikus Bulletint és a CEEIN bulletint, melyek bolidákat, bányarobbantásokat, robbanásokat és Ukrajna orosz ágyúzását és rakéta támadásait tartalmazzák.
Results in English
Our motivation was the introduction of infrasound research to Hungary by discriminating between natural and anthropogenic sources using seismic and infrasound data. Accurate event locations are prerequisite for event discrimination. The iLoc algorithm allows the use of seismic and infrasound data in the location. We have shown that adding the infrasound back-azimuth measurements to the seismic location problem significantly increases the location accuracy. We discovered recent seismic activity in the Mór Graben. Using data from a 3-station temporary deployment and permanent networks, with the subspace detector we could detect swarm events that cannot be seen on the seismograms by the naked eye. We developed single-station seismic discrimination criteria that separates local earthquakes and explosions with 95% success rate. We trained machine learning algorithms to distinguish quarry blasts, storms, and the Mátra power plant. We were able to classify infrasonic events with 97% accuracy. We established the Central and Eastern European Infrasound Network. CEEIN has significantly improved the detection capability of the European infrasound network. We identified coherent noise sources such as microbaroms from the North Atlantic. High-frequency coherent noise is generated by anthropogenic sources. We publish the Hungarian Seismo-Acoustic Bulletin and the CEEIN bulletin. These include bolides, quarry blasts, explosions, and Russian shelling and missile attacks in Ukraine.
