REGIONÁLIS KÜLÖNBSÉGEK A KERATINOCYTÁK FUNKCIÓJÁBAN ÉS EZEK SZEREPE BŐRBETEGSÉGEKBEN A jelenleg befejezett kutatásokkal bizonyítani tudtuk, hogy nem csupán a mikrobióta és a kémiai bőr barrier mutat regionális eltéréseket, de ezzel párhuzamosan az immunológiai és a permeábilitási barrier is eltérő a bőr egyes területein. A legfontosabb eltéréseket a keratinocyták citokin, kemokin és antimikrobiális peptid termelésében, a T sejtek citokin termelésében és a T sejt és dendritikus sejt számban tudtuk kimutatni. A permeábilitási barrier eltéréseket mind a tight junction, mind a stratum corneum alkotóiban ki tudtuk mutatni. Ezen különbségek alapján legalább 3 fő bőr régiót lehet elkülöníteni, a mirigyekben szegény száraz, a zsíros és a nedves régiókat. Ezek a régiók különböző “régió-specifikus” betegségek kialakítására hajlamosak. Ezen betegségek pathogenezisében a regionálisan jellemző mikrobióta és permeábilitási barrier károsodása játssza gyakran a betegség iniciáló faktorát, melyet következményesen követ az immunológiai barrier eltérése és a gyulladás kialakulása.

REGION SPECIFIC DIFFERENCES IN KERATINOCYTES’ FUNCTIONS AND THEIR ROLE IN SKIN DISEASES In the current project we proved that not only the microbiota and chemical barriers of human skin show regional differences, but parallel, the immune and permeability barrier of these areas are also distinct. The main immune differences were found in the cytokine, chemokine and antimicrobial peptide production of keratinocytes, in the cytokines of T cells and number of T cells and dendritic cells. Permeability barrier differences were detected both in the tight junction and also in the stratum corneum layer. According to these differences there are at least 3 skin regions, the gland poor dry, the sebaceous and the moist areas. These regions prone to develop different types of “region-specific” inflammatory skin diseases. In the pathogenesis of “region-specific” inflammatory skin diseases, regional microbiota and permeability barrier alterations are often identified as primary driving events, which lead to the consequent immune barrier disturbances and inflammation.
