A dupla parton szórásokat ritka eseményekben, azonos töltésű W bozon párok keletkezésével vizsgáltuk, először a világon. Részecskezáporok tulajdonságait elemeztük a szín-újrarendeződés fényében. Innovatív részecskenyom-követő algoritmusokat publikáltunk kis impulzusú fotonok mérésére. Vizsgáltuk a töltéscsere mérési lehetőségeit az LHC-nél. Számos technikai fejlesztést végeztünk a luminozitásmérés, müondetektor pozícionálás, GEM detektor fejlesztés és ZDC detektor kalibrálás területén. Több fontos vezető szerepet vállaltunk a CMS együttműködésben.

We have studied the strong interaction within the CERN CMS Collaboration. We have selected proton-proton collisions where only one hadron pair is created, while the colliding protons remain intact, thereby revealing properties of the pomeron exchange with details never seen before. We have studied the photo-production of ρ-mesons (for the first time) in ultraperipheral proton-lead collisions, using the strong electric field of the heavy ion as a photon source. We have measured angular correlations of exclusively produced jet pairs in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions, obtaining new information about the gluon structure of the nucleus. We performed two-particle quantum correlation measurements and phenomenological research in proton-proton and lead-lead collisions, studying the spatio-temporal structure of the particle emission source, and revealed the important role of the Levy distribution in the description of such correlations. We have measured double parton scattering with rare events where same-sign W boson pairs are created, for the first time. We have published innovative tracking methods for reconstructing low energy photons. We have studied the feasibility of measuring the charge exchange process at the LHC. We have conducted numerous technical developments concerning luminosity measurement, muon detector positioning, GEM detector construction and ZDC detector calibration. We have taken important leadership roles within the CMS Collaboration.
