A mohácsi csatát követő belpolitikai válság eredménye, hogy a török által nem megszállt egykori magyar területen két államalakulat működött tovább. Pénztörténeti szempontból az erdélyi részek külön fejlődtek. A mindenkori erdélyi fejedelmek nagycímletű pénzek verését helyezték előtérbe. Déri Frigyes bécsi iparmágnás a századfordulón tudatos műgyűjtésbe kezdett, melynek meghatározó, numizmatikai gyűjteménye a 20. század elején Debrecenbe került. A kollekció „erdélyi anyagáról” ennek a projektnek keretében készítettük el a katalógusát. 2023 végére készült el a reprezentatív, hiánypótló, és nagy érdeklődésre számot tartó kötet, igényes kivitelben, mind könyv, mind e-book formában.

As a result of the internal political crisis following the Battle of Mohács, two state formations continued to operate in the former Hungarian territory not occupied by the Turks. From a monetary point of view, the Transylvanian parts developed separately. The respective Transylvanian princes focused on the minting of large denomination coins. At the turn of the century, the Viennese industrial magnate Frigyes Déri began a conscious collection of works of art, the most important of which, numismatic, was transferred to Debrecen at the beginning of the 20th century. A catalogue of the collection's "Transylvanian material" was produced as part of this project. By the end of 2023, a representative, niche-substituting and highly interesting volume was completed, in a sophisticated design, in both book and e-book form.
