A pályázat célja egy magyar és részben angol nyelvű határozó (papír alapú és elektronikus) elkészítése, a legfrissebb taxonómiai ismeretek áttekintése a nevezett algacsoportra vonatkozóan. Emellett olyan, a csoportra vonatkozó ismeretanyag összeállítása, melyet be lehet építeni az egyetemi oktatásba, ugyanakkor egy emelt szintű középiskolai képzéshez is alapot nyújt.
A határozókönyv 500 példányban került nyomtatásra, elektronikus formában szabadon letölthető (https://pandorina.org/book-of-cryptophyceae/).
A határozó egy átfogó, általános ismeretekre fókuszáló résszel kezdődik, kiegészítve szómagyarázattal és rövidítések listájával. Összesen 38 faj leírását, valamint a határozókulcsot tartalmazza magyarul és angolul. A hazai fajok elterjedését UTM térképen mutatjuk be.
Az elektronikus kiadvány kereszthivatkozásokat tartalmaz. Azaz a tartalomjegyzékéből bármelyik fejezetre lapozás nélkül navigálható, a határozó-rész ugyanígy tartalmazza az azonosítás folyamatának nem csak leírását, de a megtalált fajok bemutatásához ugró linkeket is; emellett a fajleírásokhoz mellékelt QR-kódokról mobiltelefonos beolvasással vagy a QR-kódra való kattintással is ki lehet jutni a https://pandorina.org/3d_gallery/ oldal megfelelő fajához, ahol annak háromdimenziós, forgatható modelljével találkozik az olvasó.

Our goal was to prepare a key book for Cryptophyceae in Hungarian and partly in English (paper-based and electronic versions), and to review the latest taxonomic knowledge about cryptomonads. In addition, the compilation of information about the group that can be incorporated into university education and secondary education.
The key book was printed in 500 copies and can be freely downloaded in electronic form (https://pandorina.org/book-of-cryptophyceae/).
The book begins with a comprehensive introduction focusing on general knowledge, supplemented by a glossary and a list of abbreviations. It contains descriptions of a total of 38 species and the key in Hungarian and English. The Hungarian distribution of species is shown on a UTM map.
The electronic publication contains cross-references: It is possible to navigate to any given chapter in the table of contents without turning the pages; the key contains not only a detailed description of the identification process, but also hyperlinks that allow the reader to access information about the species in question. Moreover, the QR codes incorporated into the species descriptions can be scanned using a mobile phone or by clicking directly on the QR code, which will direct the reader to the following link: https://pandorina.org/3d_gallery/. This will enable the reader to view the three-dimensional, rotatable models of the corresponding species.
