A megjelentetni tervezett kiadvány bemutatása Mutassa be a megjelentetni tervezett kiadványt (műfaj, nyelv, tartalom, példányszám, megjelenés várható ideje). Ismertesse a kiadvány jelentőségét a hazai és nemzetközi szakmai közösség számára. A tervezett jegyzet megalkotását a gyakorlati szükségszerűség teszi indokolttá. A tantárgy alapműve az először 1998-ban, majd átdolgozásokkal 2006-ban Bertényi Iván által szerkesztett A történelem segédtudományai című kötet. Ez egyrészt ma már nagyon nehezen elérhető úgy nyomtatott, mint elektronikus változatban, másrészt bár kétségtelenül a téma kötelezően forgatandó alkotása, erősen a középkorra koncentrál (néhány kivételtől eltekintve). Az oktatási gyakorlat azt mutatja, hogy a hallgatóknak igényük van a modernebb korszakok segédtudományi ismereteire is, és kívánják a gyakorlati példák bemutatását is. Így például a numizmatika tárgy ismereteit egészen a 21. századig kiterjesztjük, és múzeumpedagógiai módszerekkel is segítjük az elsajátítását, a kronológiához gyakorlatsort fejlesztünk ki. A gyakorlati oktatás során bevettük a kurzusba a fenti kötetből hiányzó kodikológiát, illetve a forrásismeretet, amelyhez szintén gyakorlatsorokat rendeltünk. Paleográfiából a korábban szigorúan csak a középkor végéig terjedő anyagot külföldi minták nyomán kibővítettük a kora újkorra is. Történettudományra fókuszáló, modern szemléletű, közgyűjteményi és informatikai ismereteket is tartalmazó kutatásmódszertani iránymutató segédlet eddig még – tudomásunk szerint – nem jelent meg magyar nyelven. A szerkesztők azt gondolják, hogy a hosszú évek alatt kiérlelt elméleti és gyakorlati újítások indokolják egy új, átdolgozott és komplex egyetemi jegyzet elkészítését, ami kiegészülne egy online elérhető gyakorló feladatsor gyűjteménnyel. Ezekből kifolyólag a tervezett kötet valamennyi történész- és történelem-tanári képzést folytató magyarországi felsőoktatási intézmény számára hasznos kiadvány lehet. A tervezett munka egyetemi tankönyvként kerülne megírásra, magyar nyelven, amely előre láthatóan 2023 szeptemberében jelenne meg, összesen 220 példányban (online elérhető feladatgyűjteménnyel kiegészítve).

Presentation of the proposed publication Present the proposed publication (type, language, content, number of copies, expected date of publication). Present the significance of the publication for the domestic and international scientific community. The planned volume is justified by practical necessity. The basic work on the subject is the book A történetelem segédtudományai (The Auxiliary Sciences of History), first edited by Iván Bertényi in 1998, then with revisions in 2006. This is now very difficult to obtain in both print and electronic versions, and although it is undoubtedly a must-read work on the subject, it focuses heavily on the Middle Ages (with a few exceptions). Teaching practice shows that students also demand ancillary knowledge of the more modern periods and wish to see practical examples presented. Thus, for example, knowledge of numismatics is extended to the 21st century, and museum pedagogical methods are used to help learning, and a series of exercises is developed for chronology. In the course of practical teaching, we have included codicology, which is missing from the above-mentioned volume, and the knowledge of sources, which is also covered by a series of exercises. In the field of palaeography, material previously strictly limited to the end of the Middle Ages has been extended to the early modern period, following examples from abroad. To the best of our knowledge, a research methodological guide focusing on historiography, with a modern approach and including knowledge of public collections and information technology, has not yet been published in Hungarian. The editors believe that the theoretical and practical innovations developed over many years justify the creation of a new, revised and complex academic book, which would be complemented by a collection of online exercises. For these reasons, the planned volume could be a useful publication for all higher education institutions in Hungary that provide training in history and history teaching. The planned work would be written as a university textbook in Hungarian, and is expected to be published in September 2023, in a total of 220 copies (with an online collection of exercises).

A projekt keretében két célt tűztünk ki és valósítottunk meg: egy Bevezetés a történettudományba és a történelemkutatás módszereibe című nyomtatott tankönyv kiadását, valamint egy online digitális elearning tananyag összeállítását. Az előbbi négy tematikai egységből (Történelem és történettudomány, Forrásismeret, A történelem kutatása, Tudományos írás) álló, modern szemléletű és megjelenésű (infografikákkal, ellenőrző kérdésekkel, magyarázó szövegdobozokkal felépülő) kiadvány, az utóbbi pedig egy interaktív, számos ellenőrző feladattal, kreatív teszttel (H5P alapú technikai megoldásokkal, tanulókártyákkal, forráskritikai és szövegértési gyakorló feladatokkal, ellenőrző tesztekkel) kiegészített moodle-formátumú tananyagot jelent, amely már „élesben” használnak a Debreceni Egyetem hallgatói. Ezekhez mintaként felhasználtunk számos hasonló külföldi kiadványt, továbbá egy online workshop keretében felmértük és figyelembe vettük a szakmai észrevételeket, valamint a hallgatói véleményeket is azért, hogy a nyomtatott tankönyv és az online tananyag minél inkább megfeleljen a 21. századi felsőoktatási igényeknek.
Results in English
The project aimed to achieve two primary objectives: the first was the publication of a printed textbook titled ‘Introduction to the Historical Science and Research Methods’, and the second was the development of an online digital e-learning resource. The former comprises four thematic modules (History and Historiography, Source Knowledge, Researching History, and Academic Writing) designed with a contemporary approach and layout, featuring infographics, check questions and explanatory text boxes. The latter is an interactive learning material in Moodle format, enriched with a variety of assessment tasks, technical solutions based on H5P, flashcards, exercises for source criticism and text comprehension, as well as innovative assessment tests. This resource is already in active use within the e-learning system of the University of Debrecen. We utilized several similar foreign publications as references and gathered professional feedback through an online workshop. Additionally, we conducted a student survey to ensure that the printed textbook and online learning materials are tailored to the needs of 21st-century higher education.
