A projekt keretében létrehozni kívánt tudománynépszerűsítő elektronikus média-alkotás bemutatása: Mutassa be a tervezett elektronikus média-anyag műfaját, témáját, célcsoportjait és nyilvános megosztásának módját. Ismertesse az alkotás újszerűségét, egyediségét és várható hozzájárulását a tudomány népszerűsítéséhez. Kb. 25 perces filmet készítenénk el szakértő filmalkotók bevonásával. A Balaton élővilágában növekvő számban fordulnak elő idegenhonos fajok. Ezek között számos olyan növényt és állatot is találhatunk, amelyeket vagy az ember szándékosan telepített be, vagy emberi tevékenységek és hatások, mint a klímaváltozás nyomán spontán terjednek el. Filmünkben tavasztól őszig kísérnénk kutatócsoportjaink terepi munkáját, megmutatnánk az idegenhonos fajokat, negatív hatásaikat, és a veszélyeztetett hazai flóra és fauna elemeket. A film 12 év felettiekhez szólna, elsősorban azokhoz, akik a Balatonnál nyaralnak és a tó környékén élnek, de országos érdeklődésre is számot tart. A film alternatív eszközökkel, (pörgősen, gyors vágásokkal, valóságshow-szerűen, drónnal és víz alatti kamerával is dolgozva) mutatná be egyszerre a kutatói életet és a tudomány gyakorlati használhatóságát, ismertetne meg biológiai fogalmakat. Nem csak ismeretterjesztő szerepe lenne, de a kutatók munkájába is bepillantást enged, így hozzájárul a tudományos munka népszerűsítéséhez is. A projekt futamideje alatt az intézet szociális média felületein kampányt indítanánk amely során civilektől várjuk a balatoni vízgyűjtőn talált vízhez kötődő tevékenységeik során „felfedezett” inváziós fajokról mobiltelefonnal készített (georeferált) képeket. Ezeket azonosítjuk, térképen elhelyezzük, így képet kaphatunk arról, hogy a kutatásban résztvevő civilek milyen tevékenység során, milyen inváziós fajokkal találkoznak és hogy ezek az inváziós fajok balatoni vízgyűjtő mely területén jelennek meg. A beérkezett adatokat kiértékeljük és az eredményeket a film egy részeként mutatjuk be.
Közösségi média felületeken, elsősorban Youtube, illetve az intézet közösségi felületein jelentetnénk meg. Honlapunkon folyamatosan elérhető lenne. A kutatóintézet közcélú eseményein – pl tanácskozások, konferenciák, oktatási célú tanulmányi látogatások, nyílt napok) rendszeresen vetítésre kerül az intézetbe látogatók számára.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a tervezett média-anyag tartalmáról és tudomány-népszerűsítő céljairól. A naphal gyönyörű, de nem őshonos. Észak-Amerikából akvaristák révén került hazánkba. Ma már mindenhol megtalálható a Balatonon és nagy mennyiségben fogyasztja őshonos halaink ikráját. A szintén amerikai cifrarák mára szinte teljesen kiszorította az őshonos kecskerákot balatoni élőhelyeiről. A néhány éve még csak néhány helyen előforduló bödöncsiga mára már mindenhol előfordul a Balatonon. Hogy milyen sok, eredetileg hazánkban nem őshonos faj telepedett már le a Balatonon és vízgyűjtőjén, milyen károkat okoznak, hogyan változtatják meg az életközösségeket és mit tehetünk ellenük- erre próbál filmünk válaszokat adni. Emellett tervezett filmünkben bepillantást szeretnénk nyújtani a Balatoni Limnológiai Kutatóintézet kutatóinak életébe, megmutatva munkájuk kihívásait és szépségeit is.
Summary
Presentation of the electronic media product popularizing science proposed in the project: Present the type, subject, targeted audience, and the means of public distribution of the proposed media material. Present the product's novelty, unique nature, and its expected contribution to the popularization of science. We would like to make a film of about 25 minutes with the involvement of proffessional filmmakers. Pest species are in increasing numbers in the wildlife of Lake Balaton. These include a number of plants and animals that have been deliberately introduced by humans or spontaneously spread by human activities and impacts such as climate change. In our film, we would accompany the fieldwork of our research groups from spring to autumn, show the alien species, their negative effects, and the endangered elements of the domestic flora and fauna. The film would be aimed at people over the age of 12, mainly those who are vacationing at Lake Balaton and living around the lake, but it is also of national interest. The film would present research life and the practical usability of science at the same time, introducing biological concepts, using alternative means (fast-paced, fast-cutting, reality-show-like, drone and underwater camera). Not only would it have an educational role, but it also provides insight into the work of researchers, thus contributing to the promotion of scientific work. During the project, we would launch a campaign on the social media surfaces of the institute, during which we expect civilians to take georeferenced pictures of invasive species “discovered” during their water-related activities found in the Lake Balaton catchment. These are identified and placed on a map, so we can get an idea of the activities of the civilians participating in the research, what invasive species they encounter and in which area of these invasive species they appear in the Balaton catchment. The data received are evaluated and the results are presented as part of the film. We would publish it on social media, mainly in our Youtube cannel and on the institute's social interfaces. It would be continuously available on our website.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the content of the proposed media material and its aims to popularize science. The sun-fish is beautiful but not native in our waters. It came to our country from North America through aquarists. Today it can be found everywhere on Lake Balaton and consumes a large amount of the eggs of our native fishes. Spiny-cheek crayfish, which are also American origin, have now almost completely supplanted a native crab (Astacus leptodactylus) from its habitats at Lake Balaton. The quail snail, which has only been found in a few places for a few years, is now everywhere on Lake Balaton. Many species wich were not originally native in Hungary have already settled on Lake Balaton and its catchment. What are the negative effect they cause, how they change the ecological communities and what we can do to stop them - our film tries to find answers to questions like theese. Besides we would like to give a broad overview about the researchers life working in the Balaton Limnological Research Institute.

A pályázat futamideje alatt a vállalásoknak megfelelően egyrészt ismeretterjesztő filmet forgattunk a balatoni vízgyűjtőn előforduló vízi inváziós fajokról. Ebben tisztáztunk bizonyos invázióbiológiai alapfogalmakat, hét élőlénycsoporttal foglalkoztunk részletesebben (trópusi sügérfélék, trópusi vízinövények, amurgéb, parti öv inváziós gerinctelen élőlényei, parti öv inváziós halai, algák, madarak). A filmforgatáson túl az intézetben zajló invázióbiológiai kutatásokban bevontuk a civil társadalom képviselőit is. A balatoni horgászok tapasztalatait felhasználva internetes kérdőívezéssel, felmértük az egyik terjedőben lévő inváziós halfaj a fekete törpeharcsa balatoni elterjedési viszonyait. A balatoni törpeharcsa helyzetről több sajtóközlemény, hír és híradás született, emellett tudományos és ismeretterjesztő előadásokban mutattuk be eredményeinket. A kitöltött több mint 2500 kérdőiv adatainak elemzése jelenleg is folyik, de a felmérés egyes részeredményeit, pl. a fekete törpe harcsa balatoni elterjedés mintázatát és tömegességi viszonyait az elkészült ismeretterjesztő filmben is bemutatjuk. A kérdőívezéssel nemcsak több ezer horgászt tudtunk bevonni a közösségi kutatásba erősítve így a horgászok és a kutatók kapcsolatait, de szaklapokban is publikálható új tudományos eredményeket is létre hoztunk. A film reményeink szerint jelentősen hozzájárulhat főleg a fiatalabb nézők szemléletformálásához, és fontos információkkal gazdagítja majd a téma iránt érdeklődők tudását.

During the duration of the tender, in accordance with the commitments, we made an educational film about the aquatic invasive species in the Balaton river basin, and on the other hand, we also involved representatives of civil society in the invasive biology research taking place at the institute. Using the experience of the anglers, the distribution of the black bullhead in the lake is revealed.
Several press releases, news and news reports were made about the present distribution and mass gradation of the species, and we presented our results in scientific and educational presentations. The data of more than 2500 questionnaires are currently being analyzed, but some of the results of the survey, such as the distribution of the species and its relative abundances in the different bays of the lake, are also presented in our film.
With the questionnaire, we were able to involve thousands of anglers into the Citizen Science research, and strengthened the relationship between anglers and researchers. Moreoverwe as the result of this cooperation new scientific results borned that can be published in top rated journals. We hope that the film will make a significant contribution to the awareness-raising of younger viewers and will increase the knowledge of those interested in the subject with important information.
