Meghatároztuk, miképpen lehet minimális forráspontú azeotrop elegyet és maximális forráspontú azeotrop elegyet közbenső forráspontú oldószer felhasználásával vagy könnyű oldószer alkalmazásával szakaszos extraktív desztillációval szétválasztani. Eljárást fejlesztettünk ki a megvalósíthatóság vizsgálatára, a limitáló paraméterek meghatározására. Összehasonlítottuk szakaszos extraktív és oldószerrel segített szétválasztó eljárásokat a megvalósíthatósági vizsgálatok eredményei alapján. Megállapítottuk, hogy a komponensek illékonysági sorrendje alapján két nagy csoportba oszthatók az eljárások, és a két fő csoport a korlátozó paraméterek alapján is elkülönül. Vizsgáltuk a fordított betáplálású elrendezést, és megmutattuk, hogy az előnyösebb. Az új, heterogén extraktív desztillálás folyamatos és szakaszos változatát is bevezettük olyan homogén azeotrop szétválasztására, ami a heterogén kinyerőszer mellett is a rendszer legillékonyabb összetevője. Vizsgáltuk a szétválasztásokat szakaszos kiforralóban. MILP és MINLP modelleket dolgoztunk ki a rendszerek optimális tervezésére és a limitáló paraméterek pontosabb meghatározására. Intervallum-algebrai módszert fejlesztettünk ki a limitáló paraméterek megbízható meghatározására. Egyszerűsített módszert dolgoztunk ki kémiai egyensúllyal meghatározott szakaszos extraktív-reaktív desztilláló rendszerek megvalósíthatóságának vizsgálatára dúsító, kiforraló, és középtartályos berendezésekben.

Processes for separating minimum and maximum boiling azeotropes with applying intermediate or light boiling entrainers with batch extractive distillation are developed; feasibility methodology is developed for determining the limiting parameters to each process variant. The extractive and solvent-enhanced processes are compared, sorted to two classes according to volatility order, and rules are determined for steps and existing limiting parameters. Inverse fed batch process is developed, compared to the direct one, and its preferability is shown. Heterogeneous extractive distillation as a new process is developed for separating azeotrope that remains the lighest point in the system with a heterogeneous entrainer. Separation processes in batch stripper are also studied. MILP and MINLP models are developed for determining optimal process parameters and limiting parameters. Interval algebraic methodology is developed for reliable determination of the limiting process parameteres. Feasibility methodology is developed for studying batch extractive-reactive processes with equilibrium-limited reactions in liquid phase, in rectifier, stripper, and/or middle-vessel column.
