A Corpus Signorum Imperii Romani (CSIR) aquincumi köteinek kutatási és előkészítési munkái
A római birodalom szobrászati hagyatékát bemutató sorozat köteteit az egyes országok adják ki. Magyarországon a sorozatból csak három kötet jelent meg. A jelen kötetek:
1. Az aquincumi sírsztéléket feldolgozó kötet (Nagy Tibor, a kötetet gondozták: Németh Margit, Csontos Katalin) A kötet 230 tételben közli az aquincumi katonai tábor és katonaváros valamint a polgárváros területén és territoriumain előkerült római kori reliefdíszes sírkőanyagot. A feladat a szerző halála után a hagyatékban fellelt kézirat kiadásra alkalmassá tétele volt. A kéziratot németre fordíttattuk, illusztrációkkal, tipológiai táblákkal, térképpel, a lelőhelyek jegyzékével valamint az aquincumi temetők bemutatásával egészítettük ki.
2. Az épített síremlékeket feldolgozó kötet (Christine Ertel) három fő emlékcsoport, a síraediculák, a sírkertek és a síroltárok maradványait tartalmazza (170 tétel), a relief- és szobordíszek, feliratok mellett az egyéb díszítő és építészeti elemeket. A nyomdai előkészítés, szerkesztés megtörtént.
3. Kerek szobrok Aquincumban (Szirmai Krisztina) A munka tematikai csoportosításban, 170 tételben közli az aquincumi szobrászati anyagot.
Az Aquincumi Múzeum és a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum gyűjteményében őrzött aquincumi kőemlékanyag jelentős része a három fontos forráskiadvány révén a nemzetközi kutatás számára is hozzáférhetővé válik.

Three Aquincum volumes of the Series “Corpus Signorum Imperii Romani” (CSIR)
The CSIR series publishing the sculptural monuments of the Roman Empire is edited by the individual countries. To date only three CSIR volumes have been published in Hungary.
With the financial support given by OTKA, three more new Aquincum volumes have been prepared.
1. Funerary stelae from Aquincum (by Tibor Nagy, edited by Margit Németh, Katalin Csontos)The volume contains 230 items of Roman funerary stelae from Aquincum decorated with reliefs . The volume has not been published yet because of the death of the author. The manuscript found among the papers of the deceased were translated into German and were completed by illustrations, maps, fotos, typology plates, a lists of monuments and findspots, moreover a presentation of the Aquincum cemeteries.
2. Constructed funerary monuments of Aquincum (by Christine Ertel)The volume contains 173 items of three main groups: the parts of grave-yards, funerary altars and aediculae. There are among the monuments reliefs, sculptures, inscriptions, architectural elements. The manuscipt is prepared for printing.
3. Sculptures in Aquincum (by Krisztina Szirmai)The volume containing 170 items publishes the sculptures of Aquincum in order of themes.
The three new volumes make a major part of the collections of the Aquincum stone monuments accessible for the international research.
