A Somogyi-dombság negyedidőszaki szerkezetfejlődésének vizsgálata című kutatómunka keretében az alábbi feladatokat végeztük el: 1. A terület ipari célú szeizmikus szelvényeinek vizsgálatával a késő-miocén (pannon) aljzat szerkezetfejlődési fázisait tanulmányoztuk. A vizsgálatok során megállapítottuk, hogy – főleg a terület középső és nyugati részén - az aljzat szerkezetei (főleg redői) felújulásokként részben tükröződnek ami morfológián is. 2. Terepi tektonikai vizsgálatok és morfotektonikai analízis során a három késő-negyedidőszaki szerkezetfejlődési fázist különítettünk el. A kapott eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a szerkezetfejlődés kompressziós és eltolódásos jellegű, a mai napig is tart és aktívan alakítják a terület jelenlegi morfológiáját.
Results in English
During the research project of „investigation of Quaternary neotectonic development of Somogy Hills” we studied the following. 1. We analysed industrial seismic sections in order to clarify the tectonic development of the Late Miocene (Pannonian) basement. Topography follows the reaktivated fold pattern, especially in the central-western part of the study area. 2. During field structural observations and morphotectonic analysis we have shown three phases of neotectonic developement. The young/sub-recent age of most structures suggest that the area is the scene of active compressional and strike slip type neotectonic processes.
