A komplex többrétegű kommunikációs hálózatok szolgáltatásainak nyújtása olyan általános hálózatmodelleket követelnek meg, amelyek lehetővé teszik a létező hálózatok leírását, és amelyek kellőképpen rugalmasak ahhoz, hogy az implementált algoritmusok adaptálhatók legyenek az új tervezési és analízis folyamatok megoldására. A projekt célja az volt, hogy olyan modelleket és algoritmusokat fejlesszen ki, amelyek támogatják a nagymegbízhatóságú kommunikációs hálózatok tervezését és analízisét. A projekt során eredmények születtek a differenciált megbízhatósági követelményeket kielégítő hálózatok, a védett hálózatok időszakos konszolidálása, valamint a hálózatmodellezési és analízis eredmények optikai hálózat feletti IP szolgáltatásokra való kiterjesztése témakörében. Az eredmények a publikációkon kívül két PhD értekezésben is megjelentek.
Results in English
The service provisioning with complex, multi-layer communication networks requires such generic network models that makes it possible the description of existing networks, and are flexible enough to the adaption of the available algorithms for the solution of new planning and analysis processes. The objective of the project was to develop such models and algorithms that support the planning and analysis of communication networks with high reliability requirements. In the project several results were achieved in the themes of networks with differentiated reliability (DIR), the periodic consolidation of protected networks, and in the extension of the results for modeling and analysis of IP over WDM networks. Beyond the publications of the achievements the results appeared in two PhD theses as well.
