Nagyszámú, jó minőségű paleomágneses irányt határoztunk meg a Déli-Alpok (DA) előterére és stabil Isztriára. Ez lehetővé tette, hogy első ízben közvetlen adatokra támaszkodva látszólagos pólusvándorlási görbét (APW) határozzunk meg az Adriai mikrolemezre (Adria) 150-170 millió év közötti időre. Ezen APW alkalmas arra, hogy hozzá viszonyítsuk régiónk tektonikai egységeinek nagyléptékű mozgásait, köztük a Dunántúli-középhegységét (DKH) is. Új és korábban publikált adatokból a DKH-re is új APW-t határoztunk meg a fenti időszakra. Ez jellegében hasonló Adria APW-jéhez. A két APW legfontosabb közös vonása egy 30°-os nyugati forgás következménye, amely 115-100 millió év között történt. Ez a paleomégneses módszerrel kimutatott tektonikai esemény egyidős a mindhárom tanulmányozott területen jelentkező üledékhézaggal és a DKH és a DA üledékgyűjtői közötti közvetlen kapcsolat megszűnésével. Amint azt a paleomágneses adatok mutatják Adria és a DKH közötti kapcsolat kb. 60 millió évvel ezelőtt szakadt meg, mikor a DKH 40°-ot rotált keletre, míg Adria nem. A DKH fent jellemzett forgási eseményei alig tükröződnek a feszültségtér irányának változásában, mivel a kréta korú markereket gyakran nehéz megkülönböztetni a fiatalabbaktól. A DKH belső szerkezetét illetőleg, a korábbinál lényegesen részletesebb kép ellenére sem jelentkeznek olyan különbségek a DKH különböző részei között, amelyeket egy kb. 100 Ma környékén lezajlott takaróáttolódás bizonyítékaként értelmezhetünk.
Results in English
We obtained a large number of high quality paleomagnetic directions for the foreland of the Southern Alps (SA) and for stable Istria. Thus, we were able to define the first time a direct apparent polar wander (APW) curve for the Adriatic microplate (Adria) for 150-70Ma. This APW serves now as a reference frame for describing the large scale displacements of different tectonic units of our region, among them the Transdanubian Range (TR). Based on new and earlier published paleomagnetic results, we also defined a new APW for the TR for the above time interval. This is similar in character to the APW for Adria. The most important common feature of the respective APWs is due to an about 30° CCW rotation between 115 and 100Ma. The paleomagnetically detected tectonic event coincides with sedimentary hiatus in all three studied areas and with the termination of direct connection of the sedimentary basins of TR and SA. As paleomagnetic data suggest, the final break between Adria and TR happened only around 60Ma, when TR rotated in the CW sense about 40°, while Adria did not. The two large rotation events of the TR is only weakly reflected in the change of the stress field orientation, since the Cretaceous markers are often heavily overprinted by later processes. Concerning the internal structure of the TR, despite of the now detailed picture, there is no indication for significant relative movements within TR which we could interpret as evidence for nappe movement around 100Ma.
