Jelen pályázat egy az OTKA által már korábban is támogatott kutatáshoz kapcsolódik. A mondott kutatás 2002 elején indult, s évhalasztás miatt 2006 végén fog zárulni (címe: „Album amicorumok magyarországi bejegyzőinek adatbázisa”, OTKA ny.sz.: T 038424) Ezen munka keretében egy adatbázist terveztünk, illetve kezdtük meg feltöltését (Inscriptiones Alborum Amicorum, http://susu.cs.jgytf.u-szeged.hu/~latzkovits/). 2006 végére adatbázisunkban 4 000 albumbejegyzés adatai lesznek feldolgozva. Sikeres pályázat esetén legfőbb feladatunk a megkezdett munka folytatás lenne. Ennek keretében a pályázati időszak végére szeretnénk elérni a 8-10 000-es nagyságrendet. Több könyvtár és levéltár, így többek között az OSZK támogatását is sikerült megszereznünk. A mondott intézmények albumgyűjteményeik teljes anyagát ingyen rendelkezésünkre bocsátották, az egyes bejegyzésekről számunkra díjmentesen digitális felvételeket készítenek, illetve hozzájárultak ahhoz, hogy e fotókat ingyen adatbázisunkhoz csatoljuk. Szeretnénk még könyvtári-, levéltári kutatásokat is folytatni, elsősorban a külföldi, angliai, ausztriai, erdélyi, németországi gyűjteményekben. (A német nyelvterületen legfőbb „ágensünk” Werner Wilhelm Schnabel lenne, akivel hosszú évek óta munkakapcsolatban állunk.) Munkánk célja e téren a hungarika jellegű albumok, bejegyzések felkutatása, fotóztatása lenne. A program karbantartása, illetve (elsősorban az összetett lekérdezések) fejlesztése további programozói feladatokat is jelent.
Summary
This application is a continuation of a research project already supported by OTKA. The mentioned research project started in 2002, and due to a postponing of one year will finish in the end of 2006 (title: „Album amicorumok magyarországi bejegyzőinek adatbázisa”, OTKA reg.nr.: T 038424) In the framework of this project, we sketched the plans of a database and we also started its population (Inscriptiones Alborum Amicorum, http://susu.cs.jgytf.u-szeged.hu/~latzkovits/). By the end of 2006, 4 000 album inscriptions will be processed. In case of a successful application, our primary objective would be to continue the project. We would like to reach the 8-10 000 quantity by the end of the application term. We managed to get the support of several libraries and records, including the OSZK. The supporting institutions open their full collection to us for free, they do digital copies of the inscriptions free of charge, and they allowed us to attach these photographs to our database.
We would also like to carry out research in libraries and records, mainly in foreign (English, Austrian, German) collections. (In German speaking areas, our main ”agent” would be Werner Wilhelm Schnabel, with whom we have been in partnership for years). What we want to achieve in this area is to find and process albums and inscriptions of Hungarian relevance and to make photographs of them.
The maintenance and further development (especially regarding the complex search function) of the program means that there are also some programming tasks to do.

A kutatás célja egy interneten keresztül lekérdezhető olyan adatbázis adatokkal történő feltöltése volt, melyben 16-18. századi hungarika jellegű emlékkönyv bejegyzéseket dolgozunk fel. A kutatás kezdetekor 4000 rekordból állt az adatbázis. (Internetcím: http://iaa.bibl.u-szeged.hu/) Eredeti terveink szerint 8000-10000-es rekordszámot szerettük volna elérni. Az adatbázis jelenleg 9114 rekordból áll, tehát vállalásunkat e téren teljesítettük. Hasonlóképpen eleget tettünk vállalásainknak a program fejlesztése területén, illetve a levéltári-, könyvtári kutatások vonatkozásában. Német, svájci, erdélyi és magyarországi gyűjteményekből fotóztattunk, igen nagy mennyiségben.
Results in English
The aim of our research was to populate a database which contains album amicorum entries of Hungarian relevance from the 16th-18th century. At the beginning of the research, the database contained 4000 records. (Internet address: http://iaa.bibl.u-szeged.hu). Our original plan was to reach a record number of 8000 - 10,000. As of writing this, the database contains 9114 records, which means that our commitment has been realised. Similarly, we managed to comply with our obligations in terms of the development of the program, and research in archives and libraries was also performed according to the proposed plans. We have ordered a significant number of digital images from collections in Germany, the Switzerland, Transylvania and Hungary.
