A kiadandó könyv a Mikszáth Kálmán életművét tartalmazó kritikai összkiadás 42, az elbeszélések alsorozat 16. kötete. Ez a kötet az 1893--1897 között keletkezett novellákat tartalmazza. A sorozatból eddig az 1—41. és az 50—86. kötet jelent meg. A sajtó alá rendezés Hajdu Péter több éves munkája, a lektorálást Fábri Anna végezte, az Argumentum Kiadónál fog megjelenni. A még az ötvenes években elkezdett sorozat egyes köteteit több kiadó adta ki, a legutóbb megjelent 39-et az Argumentum, amelynek így aztán nemcsak a kritikai kiadásokban általában, hanem a Mikszáth kritikai kiadásban is van tapasztalata.
Summary
It will be the 42th volume of the complete critical edition of Kálmán Mikszáth’s oeuvre, and the 16th volume of the series containing his complete short story writing. This volmue contains the short stories written in the period 1893—1897. The editor is Péter Hajdu, the book has been supervised by Anna Fábri and it will be published by the publishing house Argumentum. The complete edition of Miksztáh’s work started in the fifties, and various publishing houses took part in the prestigious enterprise. The last volume (that happened to be the 39th) was already published by Argumentum, which, by that, can be regarded expert of not only critical editions in general but the critical edition of Mikszáth’s writing too.
