Az OTKA T047111 számú kutatásának eredményeit számos hazai és nemzetközi folyóiratba tesszük/tettük közzé. Az eredményeink angol nyelvű megjelenéséhez szükséges volt angol anyanyelvű lektor közreműködése, illetve az ábrák szerkesztéséhez egy grafikust is alkalmaznunk kellett. Ezeket a költségeket nem tudtuk a korábbi OTKA pályázatból finanszírozni. A következő cikkek megjelenéséhez volt szükségünk további anyagi forrásokra.
1. Judit Kormos and Kata Csizér: Age-related differences in the motivation of learning English as a foreign language: Attitudes, selves and motivated learning behavior. A Language Learning c. folyóiratban megjelenő cikk jelentősége: 1. Nemzetközi szinten először tesztel egy új idegen nyelvtanulási konstruktumot. 2. Három tanuló korcsoportot hasonlít össze Magyarországon.
2. Kata Csizér és Judit Kormos: Modelling the role of inter-cultural contact in the motivation of learning English as a foreign language. Az Applied Linguistics c. folyóiratban megjelenő cikk nemzetközi szinten is egyedülálló módon idegen nyelvi környezetben próbálja az interkulturális kontaktus motivációs hatásait feltárni.
3. Kata Csizér és Judit Kormos: Attitudes, selves and motivated learning behaviour: a comparative analysis of structural models for Hungarian secondary and university learners of English. Ez a cikk Zoltán Dörnyei és Ema Ushioda által szerkesztett kötetben fog megjelenni (Motivation, Identity and the L2 self). A cikk több-csoporton végzi el egyszerre a nyelvtanulási motiváció strukturális modellezését, amely szintén nemzetközi szinten is ritkán alkalmazott eljárás.
4. Kata Csizér és Judit Kormos: The relationship of inter-cultural contact and langauge learning motivation among Hungarian students of English and German. Ezt a cikket a Multilingual and Multicultural Development folyóirathoz nyújtottuk be. A cikk egyedüllálló módon az angol és német kontaktus adatokat hasonlítja össze Magyarországon.
Summary
The present application aims to finance 4 of our English-language articles based on datasets collected in the OTKA T047111 research project, as the former project could not pay for the English-language proof readers and for the graphich designs incorporated into the articles.
1. Judit Kormos and Kata Csizér: Age-related differences in the motivation of learning English as a foreign language: Attitudes, selves and motivated learning behavior. This article has been accepted for publication in Language Learning, a prestigious American journal. The article is important for at least two reasons: 1. It is one of the first scientific studies to investigate the L2 motivational self system. 2. The three age-groups investigated allows for cross-cohortional comparison.
2. Kata Csizér and Judit Kormos: Modelling the role of inter-cultural contact in the motivation of learning English as a foreign language. The article will appear in Applied Linguistics. a well known British journal. This article aims at presenting a valid and reliable structural equation model, which is unparalalled in the fact that it concerns the role of inter-cultural contact in Hungary.
3. Kata Csizér and Judit Kormos: Attitudes, selves and motivated learning behaviour: a comparative analysis of structural models for Hungarian secondary and university learners of English. The article has been accepted for publication in Z. Dörnyei and E. Ushioda edited volume entitled Motivation, Identity and the L2 self and to be appear in the spring of 2008. The article's multigroup design while carrying out structural equation modelling is a rarety in the field of L2 research.
4. Kata Csizér and Judit Kormos: The relationship of inter-cultural contact and langauge learning motivation among Hungarian students of English and German. This article has been submitted to Multicultural and Multilingual Development. Its most important feature is that it compares German- and English-related data in in Hungary.

A cikkek mind a szakma rangos nemzetközi folyóirataiban jelentek meg, illetve két neves kutató által szerkesztett kötetben.
Results in English
We published three articles and one book chapter in this project. The articles appeared in well-known international journals of the field and the book chapter was published in a collection by two well-known motivation experts. The publications were the following: 1.
