A pályázat célja az "Arany bötűköt rámetszett..." Tanulmányok Galavics Géza tiszteletére munkacímű kötet megjelentetése, azon belül is a könyv OTKA kutatásokon alapuló tanulmányainak támogatása. A tervezett kiadvány a kora újkori történelem, művészettörténet, kertművészet, irodalomtörténet és néprajz tárgyköréből tartalmaz tanulmányokat, létrehozásában magyar és nemzetközi szerzők vettek részt. Főbb kutatási témák: a kora újkori reprezentáció színterei, egyház és művészet kapcsolata, épített és táji környezet alakítása.
Summary
The objective of the present grant appication is to win support for the publication of the volume bearing the working title „Engraved in Golden Letters”, a collection of papers to appear as a homage to Géza Galavics, and, within that, for the studies in the volume which are based on OTKA-financed research. The volume planned covers the fileds of early modern history, art history, horticulture, literary history and folklore, and includes studies by Hungarian as well as foreign scholars. The main fields of research are the scenes of modern representation, the relationship of Church and art, and the development of man-built and natural environment.

The book „This world like a garden…” Essays in Honour of Géza Galavics. Ed. by Bubryák, Orsolya, MTA Művészettörténeti Kutatóintézet–Gondolat Kiadó, Budapest 2010. was published according to the OTKA contract.
