Az 1989-es politikai rendszerváltozás óta radikális változások mentek végbe a magyar iparban. Számos új ipari beruházás valósult meg, jelentős hányaduk az ipari parkokban. Az ipari létesítmények területi elhelyezkedésében releváns különbségek vannak. Az okok sokfélék, de kétségtelen, hogy a közlekedési infrastruktúra milyenségének nagy szerepe lehetett benne. Mivel eddig még idehaza nem került sor ezen összefüggés vizsgálatára, ezért ezen kutatás alapvető célja, hogy feltárja a közlekedési hálózat milyenségének a szerepét az ipari beruházások telephelyválasztásában, az ipar fejlődésében és területi szerkezetében regionális és lokális szinten. Ez a kutatás új aspektusból vizsgálja a közlekedési hálózat, a különböző közlekedési ágazatok ipari fejlődésre és ipari térre gyakorolt hatását. A kutatás hozzájárulna az ipar és a közlekedés közötti mélyebb kapcsolatrendszer megismeréséhez. Az új összefüggések, a kutatás eredményei a Gazdasági Minisztérium gazdaságfejlesztési céljainak és a Nemzeti Fejlesztési Tervben kiemelt prioritást kapott közlekedésfejlesztési céloknak a megvalósítását is megalapozzák.
Summary
After the change in the political system in 1989 radical changes have taken place in the Hungarian industry. Numerous new industrial investments were carried out mostly in industrial parks. There are relevant differences in the geographical location of the new industrial establishments. The reasons are different, but it is unquestionable that transport infrastructure could have been a great role in it. As until now this connection has not been analysed yet, therefore the basic purpose of this proposal is to reveal the role of the quality of the transport network in the location choice of industrial establishments and in the development and spatial pattern of industry on regional and local levels. This research examines from a new aspect the impacts of the transport network and of the different branches of transport on the industrial development and space. The research would contribute to the recognition of the deeper relationship between industry and transport. The results of the proposal could largely serve the economic development purposes of the Ministry of Economics and the transport development purposes of National Development Plan, in which the development of transport network has got priority.
