A projekt során számos kérdés megoldásában tudtunk jelentõsen elõrehaladni. Felületszingularitások esetében a rácspont-homológia konstrukciójának messzemenõ általánosítása, és alkalmazása komplex görbékre illetve magasabb dimenzióban érdemel kiemelést. Megjelent a felületszingularitásokat tárgyaló monográfia is. Csomóelméletben számos új invariáns, ezek hatása a konkordizmus-csoportra, illetve tágabb értelemben a Heegaard Floer homológia (és csomó Floer homológia) adta a vizsgálatok tárgyát. Kontakt sokaságok Legendre és transzverz csomóit is intenzíven kutattuk. Sokaságok topológiájára számos új eredmény született, a négy-dimenziós esetben fõleg a génusz-függvény témakörében. Például új obstrukciót találtunk arra, hogy egy csomó metszet legyen --- és ez az obstrukció egy zárt sokaság génusz-függvényén alapul. Kiemelést érdemel talán Cavallo és Stipsicz cikke potenciális egzotikus 4-gömbök megkülönböztethetõségérõl. A Higgs nyalábok elméletében jónéhány cikk született, például a nevezetes P=W sejtéssel kapcsolatban. Gironella magas dimenziós kontakt sokaságokra vonatkozó eredménye a matematika egyik legnevezetesebb folyóiratában jelent meg.

During the project, we were able to make significant progress in solving many problems. In the case of surface singularities, the far-reaching generalization of the lattice homology construction and its application to complex curves and in higher dimensions deserves highlighting. The monograph discussing surface singularities was also published. In knot theory, several new invariants, their effect on the concordance group, and, in a broader sense, the Heegaard Floer homology (and knot Floer homologies) were the subject of the investigations. Legendre and transverse knots of contact manifolds were also intensively researched. Many new results were obtained for the topology of manifolds, especially in the four-dimensional case through their genus function. For example, we found a new obstruction for a knot to be slice- -- and this obstruction is based on the genus function of a closed manifold. Cavallo and Stipsicz's article on the distinguishability of potential exotic 4-spheres deserves mention. There have been quite a few articles on the theory of Higgs beams, for example, regarding the famous P=W conjecture. Gironella's result on high-dimensional contact manifolds was published in one of mathematics' most famous journal.
