A 2022. novemberében 500 példányszámban és e-könyv formátumban a Gondolat Kiadó gondozásában megjelent Intelligenciák – más-kép(p) című magyar nyelvű monográfiában Howard Gardner dinamikusan változó többszörös intelligenciák elméletének (TI) tudományos igényű ismertetését, summázatát, kritikáinak rendszerezését és társelméletei kapcsolódási pontjainak feltárását, valamint pedagógiai alkalmazási lehetőségeinek bemutatását végeztem el.
A tárgyalt elmélet központi gondolata, hogy bár az IQ és az iskolai teljesítmény közötti összefüggés evidensen hat, nem beszélhetünk intelligenciáról általában, hanem ún. többszörös intelligenciákról, melyből adódóan intelligencia profilunk minden ember sajátja, ugyanakkor egyedi mintázatú, tevékenységek során megnyilvánuló, és kultúrafüggő tulajdonság.
Az írásmű egy szűkebb, ám a pedagógiai gyakorlati alkalmazás tekintetében széleskörű érdeklődésre számot tartó probléma eddig inkonzekvensen használt szaknyelvének megteremtését, egységes adekvát szakmai kommunikáció megalapozását is felvállalja hazánkban, illetve a Kárpát-medencei magyarajkú pedagógiai szakirodalomban hiánypótló módon.
A kötet terjedelme 165 oldal (mintegy 400 000 karakterű főszöveg), mely tartalomjegyzékre, előszóra, hét fejezetre, irodalomjegyzékre és névmutatóra tagolódik, 128 lábjegyzetet, 10 számozott ábrát, és 7 táblázatot foglal magában.

In the monograph entitled “Intelligenciák – más-kép(p)” (”Intelligences – re-view(ed)”) published by Gondolat Kiado in November 2022 in 500 copies and in epub format I gave a scholarly summary of Howard Gardner’s dynamically changing Theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) and its possible educational applications in the Hungarian speaking regions of the Carpathian Basin. I also enclosed a synthetized overview of the critiques of the theory, and a possible interpretation of its peer theories describing their common features and matrixes.
The focus of the theory suggest that although intelligence and school performance seem to go hand in hand, this seemingly evident correspondence may be questioned. The by-now Harvard scholar theorist Gardner suggests that human intelligence should be differentiated into modalities, rather than be accepted as a general ability. His understanding of intelligences is a concern that we may talk about human, productive and culture specific characteristics when interpreting the unique intelligence profiles of individuals.
As the terminology of MI had been used inconsequently in Hungarian I aimed at grounding a relevant set of educational concepts for the circles of Hungarian speaking professionals dealing with the theory.
The book is 165 pages long (400 000 characters concerning the main text), and consists of a table of context, a foreword, 7 chapters, literature, index, 128 footnotes, 10 figures, and 7 charts.
