2003 nyarától 2006 nyaráig megtörtént az egyiptomi m- és n- kezdőhangú szóanyagra vonatkozó lexikográfiai és etimológiai irodalom kicédulázása. Következésképpen 2006 nyarától megkezdtem az m- kezdőhangú anyag kész etimológiai szócikkeinek szerkesztesét és begépelését, mely több, mint egy évig tartott, és 2007 őszén fejeződött be. Ennek erdeményeként létrejött az m- kezdőhangú szócikkanyag, mely egymaga kitett egy teljes kötetnyi terjedelmet, vagyis a III. kötet az m- kezdőhangot tartalmazza. Az egyiptomi etimológiai szótár III. kötetét 2007. dec.-ben publikálta a Brill kiadó Leidenben (2008-as évszámmal a címlapon, mivel az adott év okt.-e utáni publikációkat a következő évhez sorolják), terjedelme ezer oldal fölött lett. Ebben köszönetet mondtam az OTKA támogatásáért is. A következő, vagyis IV. kötet nyersanyaga is ki van már cédulázva, ez az anyag is önmagában egy kb. 1.000 oldalas kötetet ad ki, így begépelése szintén min. egy évig fog tartani. Párhuzamosan - vállalásomnak megfelelően - a következő (mostani számítás szerint az V.) kötet anyaga, az egyiptomi dentális kezdőhangú szókincsre vonatkozó etimológiai anyag kigyűjtése is folyt. Így két kötet is van előkészületben. Emellett 2008 nyarán megjelenik az általam szerkesztett ''Semitohamitische Festschrift für A.B. Dolgopolsky und H. Jungraithmayr'' c. tanulmánykötet a két kiemelkedő szemitohamitista 75. jubileuma tiszteletére a Dietrich Reimer kiadónál Berlinben. Ebben köszönettel ismertem el az OTKA hozzájárulását a publikációs költségek fedezéséhez.

From summer 2003 till summer 2006 the filing of all relevant lexicographical and etymological literature pertaining to the Egyptian lexical stock with m- and n- in trhe Anlaut had been completed. From summer 2006 I began editing the etymological lexicon entries of the Egyptian words beginning with m-, which was finished in autumn 2007. As a result, I accomplished the etymological lexicon entries for Egyptian words with m-, which resulted in more than one thousand printed pages. The 3rd volume was published by Brill (Leiden) in Dec. 2007 (with the year 2008 on its title page, since all volumes published after October of the given year will bear the following year ). In this volume, I expressed my gratitude a.o. to the OTKA for its support. The raw material for the next, namely the 4th volume, has also been filed. This material too will result in around one thousand printed pages, so its editing and typing will also take at least one year's time. Simultaneously, in accordance with my commitment, the etymological materials for the 5th vol. (Egyptian lexical stock with dental plosives in the Anlaut) has also been collected and filed. Henceforth, two EDE volumes are forthcoming. Beside these, by summer 2008, a new volume of collected papers edited by myself is to appear with the title ''Semitohamitische Festschrift für A.B. Dolgopolsky und H. Jungraithmayr'' for the 75th jubilee of both outstanding Semitohamiticists with the Dietrich Reimer Verlag in Berlin. Naturally, in the reported period too, I have kept publishing my studies on Afro-Asiatic historical phonology and etymology.
