kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
Munkánkat a kutatási terv szerint végeztük. Célunk az volt, hogy
1/ elkészüljön az MTA Könyvtár Keleti Gyűjteményében lévő tibeti kéziratok-fanyomatok katalógusa, valamint
2/ elkészüljön a Stein katalógus (2002) Supplementumahoz a további Stein-kéziratok katalógusa, mindkettő magyar nyelven.
A kitűzött célokat mindkét esetben elértük, mi több, meghaladtuk.
ad 1/ a tibeti anyag katalogusa elkészült. Orosz Gergely elkészítette a megfelelő mutatókat (mintegy 400 oldal), valamint elvégezte a korábbi leírás (mintegy 1 600 oldal) revízióját. A vállalt feladaton túl, hozzákezdett az anyag angolosításához. A továbbiakban a hatalmas anyag publikálásához kell forrásokat találnunk, beleértve a szakmai lektorálást is.
ad 2/ elkészült a Stein-kéziratok katalógusa is Kelecsényi Ágnes és Kárteszi Ágnes leírásában. Feldolgozásra került mintegy 15 000 fóliónyi kézirat (levelezés, személyes dokumentumok, korrektúrák, kéziratok etc.), valamint nyomtatott és kézzel rajzolt térképek (mintegy 200), tervek 1906-1908, 1913-15-ből (mintegy 100), cikkek, kivágatok, recenziók etc. (mintegy 400).
Sikerült forrásokat találnom a mintegy 2 500 további Stein-fotó feldolgozásához is, s mivel angliai kollégáink is elkészültek ezzel, a Supplement to the Catalogue of the Collections of Sir Aurel Stein in the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sceiences nyomdában van, májusra remélhetőleg megjelenik ( 200 oldal).
kutatási eredmények (angolul)
The aims of the project :
1/ to prepare a catalogue of Tibetan Manuscripts and Blockprints in the Oriental Collection of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences,
2/ to prepare a Supplement to the Stein Catalogue (2002) that is to catalogue all of the Stein related manuscripts in the Library
Both of the above purposes were realized, what is more, exceeded
ad 1/ Catalogue of Tibetan MSS and blockprints has been finished. Appropriate indexes (appr. 400 pp.) were made by G. Orosz, together checking the whole material previously described by him (appr. 1 600 pp.). Translation into English has been started. For publishing the huge material new financial assistance is needed, together with professional reading and criticizing.
ad 2/ Catalogue of Stein related manuscripts has been finished. The following items were processed by Á. Kelecsényi and Á. Kárteszi: manuscripts more than 15 000 folios (correspondence, personal documents, proofs, manuscripts etc.) , printed and hand-drawns maps (appr. 200), plans from 1906-1908, 1913-1915 (appr. 100), articles, offprints and reviews (appr. 400), etc.
Processing of photographs (appr. 2 500) by our colleagues in the UK - subsidized by other sources - has also been finished . So the Supplement to the Catalogue of the Collections of Sir Aurel Stein in the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in my editing is in the press now and it is to be hoped it will be published in May.
