A dinamikus rendszerek irányítási és szabályozási feladatainak megoldása feltételezi az irányított rendszer modelljének ismeretét. Ezeket a modelleket analitikus úton származtatjuk, vagy a gyakorlati esetek jelentős részében a mért jellemzőkből identifikáljuk. Az utóbbi években új eljárásokat dolgoztak ki a robusztus stabilitás és a minőségi követelmények biztosítására. Ilyenek a H2 a H8 és l1 analízis és szintézis módszerek.
Az irányításelmélet, rendszerelmélet klasszikusan a matematikai programozás és a differenciálegyenletek határterületének számított. Kalman eredményei óta a strukturális rendszertulajdonságok (elérhetőség, megfigyelhetőség, stabilizálhatóság, stb.) vizsgálata és alkalmazása került a kutatások centrumába. A véges dimenziós lineáris rendszereket geometriai és algebrai, a nemlineáris rendszereket differenciálgeometriai, a végtelen dimenziós rendszereket pedig elsősorban funkcionálanalízisbeli eszközökkel vizsgálták. Ehhez az intenzíven kutatott határterületi diszciplinához A., a differenciálalgebrai módszerek bekapcsolásával időtől függő, B., a matematikai programozás új módszerei alkalmazásával (viability, érintőkúpok, stb.) a feltételes, fáziskorlátozások melletti irányítási problémák megoldásával kívánunk hozzájárulni. Módszerünkkel az időtől függő lineáris rendszerek esetére is kiterjeszthetőknek látszanak a robusztus irányításelmélet H8 típusú módszerei.
A jelen pályázat tematikája:
Időtöl függő dinamikus rendszerek rendszertulajdonságai: irányíthatóság, megfigyelhetőség, rekonstruálhatóság, stb.
Végtelen dimenziós rendszerek rendszertulajdonságai, realizációelmélete.
Irányíthatósági és megfigyelhetőségi alterek rekonstrukciója.
Szétcsatolási feltételek, szétcsatolás állapot- és kimenet-visszacsatolással. Szabályozók és szűrők tervezésének a matematikai feladata.
Változó struktúrájú rendszerek véges és végtelen dimenzióban, sliding mode és receding horizon irányítások.
Időtől függő perturbációk hatása, strukturális és H8 értelembeli robusztus irányítások.
Szimbolikus módszerek az időtől függő rendszerek vizsgálatában, Lie- és differenciál-algebrai algoritmusok.
Lineáris és nemlineáris rendszerek feltételes irányíthatósága, megfigyelhetősége.
Bizonytalan paraméterű rendszerek stabilizálása állapot- és output visszacsatolással.
A játék-, és rendszerelméleti módszerek egy lehetséges szintézise.
A kutatás során nyert eredmények alkalmazásai gazdasági és populációbiológiai modellek vizsgálatára.

Control and system theory was considered the frontier area between mathematical programming and differential equations. Since Kalman’s results, focus was put on the analysis and application of structural system qualities (reachability, observability, stability). For the finite dimensional linear systems geometrical and algebric, for the nonlinear systems differential geometrical, for the infinite dimensional systems functional analysis tools were used, respectively. For this intensively researched frontier discipline we would like to contribute with the solution of the following control problems: (A) time-dependent problems with differential algebraic methods, (B) conditional, phase-limited control problems with the application of new methods of mathematical programming (viability, tangent cone).
With our methods, the H8 methods of robust control seems to be extendible to the case of time-dependent linear systems.
Tematics of the current application:
- System qualities of time-dependent dynamical systems: controllability, observability, reconstruability.
- System qualities and realisation theory of infinite dimensional systems
- The reconstruction of controllable and observable subspaces
- Decoupling conditions, decoupling with state and output-feedback. Mathematical problems of controllers and filters
- Varying structured systems in finite and infinite dimensions, sliding mode and receding horizon controls
- Effect of time dependent perturbation, structural and H8 robust controls
- Symbolic methods in the analysis of time dependent systems, Lie-, and differential algebraic algorhytms
- Conditional controllability and observability of linear and nonlinear systems
- Stabilization of non-determined parameter systems with state and output-feedback
- Synthesis of game theory and system theory methods
- Application of results for the analysis of economical and population models

A lineáris rendszerek algebrai vizsgálata kapcsán bevezetett ún. vertikuum-típusú rendszerek segítségével sikerült igen bonyolult gráfú komplex gazdasági és műszaki rendszereket „egyszerűbb szerkezetűvé” transzformálni. A különféle vertikuum-típusú rendszerek mind gyakorlati, mind elméleti jelentősége abban rejlik, hogy egy természetes algoritmizálást kínál, másrészt az is kiderült, hogy „szinte minden” rendszer vertikuum-típusú rendszerré transzformálható. A kutatás során fontos eredmény volt, hogy a részvertikuumok irányíthatósága, megfigyelhetősége és a teljes rendszer irányíthatósága és megfigyelhetősége közötti kapcsolat, amely szerint ha a részvertikuumok megfigyelhetőek és/vagy irányíthatóak, akkor a teljes rendszer is megfigyelhető és/vagy irányítható. A vertikuum-típusú rendszerek vizsgálatakor felmerülő fontos probléma, ha az egyik Ai-t alrendszert ki-, vagy bekapcsoljuk. Egy ilyen rendszer irányíthatóságára adtunk rangfeltételt a kapcsolásokra feltett gerjesztési feltételek mellett, és ezután általánosítottuk több alrendszerre is, valamint sikerült a kapcsolt vertikuum típusú rendszerek irányíthatóságára és megfigyelhetőségére szükséges és elégséges feltételt adnunk. A kutatási tervben szereplő alkalmazásokat illetően egyfelől teljes mértékben teljesítettük a kitűzött kutatási feladatokat, másrészt azokat csatlakozó tematikával sikerült messzemenően kiterjeszteni, és új kontrollelméleti és játékelméleti modellezési vizsgálatokkal kiegészíteni.

Verticuum type systems were introduced during the algebraic analysis of linear systems, and proved to be an excellent means of transforming complex graphed economic and engineering systems to a simpler structure. The theoretical and practical significance of verticuum type systems is that on the one hand almost all systems can be transformed to a verticuum-type representation, and that they offer a straightforward algorithmic approach. An important result of our resarch was that a connection was made between the subverticuums and the original verticuum type systems controllability and observability qualities. We showed that if the subverticuums are observable and/or controllable then the original system is also observable and/or controllable. Concerning another important problem, the switching (on or off) type of subsystems we gave a rank condition for the controllability of the system under given persisting conditions made for the switching subsystem, and we generalised the results for multiple subsystems. Considering the applications outlined in the research plan we managed to fully perform the planned tasks, moreover with the thematical extensions we managed to make a much wider outreach by undertaking additional game theoretical and control theoretical analyses.
