A pályázat célja a nganaszan nyelv - az egyik legveszélyeztetettebb és legkevésbé kutatott uráli nyelv – diakrón kognitív onomasziológiai szótárának összeállítása. A szótár önmagában fontos lépést jelent a szamojéd – de az egész uráli – lexikológiában, de egyben további – elsősorban történeti és szemantikai – kutatásokat is előkészít, mivel ilyen típusú kutatás Szibéria nyelveit és az uráli nyelveket eddig nem érintette, ebben a tekintetben is új utat próbál törni. A szótárat jellegéből adódóan nemcsak a szamojéd nyelveket kutatók érdeklődésére tarthat számot, hanem a kognitív nyelvészet, a metaforakutatók és lexikológiával foglalkozók számára is hasznos és érdekes lehet, sőt akár laikus érdeklődők is használni tudják majd. A szótár az onomasziológián belül is sajátos formát képvisel: a fogalmak felől közelít a formához a nganaszanban (és részben a több szamojéd nyelvben – nyenyec, enyec, nganaszan, szölkup, mator, kamassz). Célja, hogy felfedje azokat az univerzális és nyelvspecifikus tendenciákat, amelyek e nyelvben, nyelvekben a különböző tartományokba tartozó fogalmak lexikai megvalósulásait irányítják, tehát a végső a forrásfogalom és célfogalom közötti kognitív (metaforikus, metonimikus stb.) kapcsolat és forrásforma és célforma közötti kapcsolat meghatározása és rendszerezése. A szótár nyitott, de ellenőrzött lesz, amely további nyelvekkel lesz bővíthető.
Summary
The aim of the project is to compile a diachronic cognitive onomasiological dictionary of the Nganasan language – one of the most endangered and less documented Uralic languages. The dictionary in itself is an important step in the lexicological research on the Samoyedic (and the Uralic) languages. It prepares the ground for further – primarily historical and semantical – studies, since such a research has not yet been conducted on the Siberian and the small Uralic languages. The project tries to aspire to new ways in this respect as well. The dictionary can be of interest not only for Samoyedologists, but for cognitive linguists and lexicologists – and maybe for the non-professionals, too. Within onomasiology, the dictionary represents a particular field: the focus is on the designation of a given concept in Nganasan (and to some extent in other Samoyedic languages – Nenets, Enets, Selkup, Mator, Kamas). The aim is to discover universal and culture-specific tendencies that direct the lexicalization processes of concepts belonging to different semantic domains in these languages. On the one hand, it classifies and systematizes the cognitive relations of source and target concepts (metaphoric, metonymic, etc.) , on the other hand, the formal relations of source and target forms (derivation, conversion, etc.). The dictionary is going to have controlled free access, and the database might be enhanced in many respects, e.g. as regards the number of the languages.

Projektünknek két fő célja volt:
1) a nganaszan nyelv lexikális tipológiai/kognitív onomasziológiai profiljának felvázolása. Ehhez – sok más feladat mellett – az egyes lexémák jelentései közötti kapcsolatok meghatározása, az ehhez szükséges rendszer kialakítása volt a legnehezebb feladat.
2) a nganaszan szókészlet eredet szerinti (belső keletkezésű, átvétel, lexikai folytonosság, ismeretlen) csoportosítása. Ezen belül, amennyire lehetséges, az ismeretlen eredetűnek minősített lexémák eredetének feltérképezése, elsősorban az északi-szamojéd nyelvek kontextusában.
Mindezt olyan dinamikus felületen valósítottuk meg, amely lehetőséget biztosít a folyamatos bővítésre és javításra, valamint gyors és komplex keresésekre, jelentős mértékben megkönnyítve a későbbi lexikológiai, etimológiai stb. kutatásokat. Results in English
Our project had two main objectives:
1) outline the lexical typology/cognitive onomasiological profile of the Nganasan language. Among many other tasks - defining the relationship between the meanings of related lexemes, and the development of the classification was the most difficult task.
2) discover and categorize the Nganasan lexicon by the type of origin (result of word-formation process, borrowing, lexical continuity, unknown). In particular, as far as possible, we found etymological parallels of Nganasan lexemes with unknown origin in the context of the North Samoyed languages.
All this is aimed to achieve a dynamic interface that allows continuous expansion and improvement, as well as fast and complex search queries, significantly facilitating the subsequent lexical, etymological, etc. research. On this page we provided all relevant information related to the project (publications, links, user manuals, etc.).
