E pályázat folytatása a 2007 és 2011 között megvalósult 68544. számú OTKA-pályázatnak, amelynek eredményeként megkezdődött az életmű kritikai kiadása. A pályázat célja a következő kötetek kiadása: A szegény kisgyermek panaszai, A rossz orvos és az 1920-as évek elejének novelláskötetei (együtt), a Tengerszem, valamint a Levelezés 2. és 3. kötete. Egyúttal megkezdődnének A bús férfi panaszai, a Mostoha és az 1920-as évek eleji publicisztika kiadásának előkészületei is. A legfontosabb művek esetében hálózati kiadás is készülne. A kutatás eredménye a megjelent kötetek, valamint a hálózati kiadás − ezek nemcsak a szakemberek számára készülnek, hanem a szélesebb közönség számára is. A kritikai kiadás zsinórmértékül szolgál Kosztolányi műveinek népszerű kiadása esetében is. A projekt során számos probléma merült fel, amely súlyos szakmai kihívást jelent a kutatás számára. A kéziratok összetettsége, rétegezettsége, a gyorsírásos részek gyakorisága éppúgy próbára teszi a kritikai kiadások készítőit, mint az a mostanában reflektorfényt kapott sajátos körülmény, hogy az életműnek nem jelentéktelen része álnéven, szignóval vagy éppen névtelenül jelent meg, s már a szövegek szerzőjének azonosítása is nagy körültekintést igényel. A hálózati kiadások megvalósítása pedig kikényszeríti a Kosztolányi-filológia infrastrukturális alapjainak kiépítését-fejlesztését is.
Summary
This project is a continuation of our OTKA Grant No. 68544 for the years between 2007 and 2011 which made possible the publication of the first volumes of the critical edition. The objective of the present application is to publish the following volumes: A szegény kisgyermek panaszai (The Complaints of the Poor Child), A rossz orvos (The Bad Doctor) together with the short story volumes of the beginning of the 1920’s, Tengerszem (Tarn) as well as the 2nd and 3rd volumes of Letters. The preparations of the publication of the volumes A bús férfi panaszai (The Complaints of the Sad Man), Mostoha (Stepmother) and the writings of journalism of the beginning of the 1920’s would also start. In the case of the most important works, an online publication is also part of the project. The result of the research will be the volumes published as well as their online publication – these are designed not only for the experts but also for the wider public. A critical edition will also serve as a standard for any popular edition of Kosztolányi’s works. During the project, a number of problems arose which presented a severe challenge for our research. The complexity and the stratified nature of the manuscript, and the frequency of the stenographic parts poses as serious obstacles for the researchers as the special circumstance which has become in the focus of the research quite recently that a considerable part of the oeuvre has been published under a pseudonym, with a signo or anonymously – thus, identification of the author of the text needs, in itself, a very cautious investigation. To realize online editions, on the other hand, will demand the building, forming and developing of the infrastructural bases of the Kosztolányi philology.

A projekt keretében sikerült három kötetet (Levelezés I. 1901−1907, A szegény kisgyermek panaszai, Béla, a buta / A rossz orvos) megjelentetni és egy hálózati kiadást ( Édes Anna) elkészíteni. A négy munka közül három esetében új úton kellett járnunk: a levelezés- és a verseskötet első próbálkozásunk e műfajok terén, az Édes Anna jegyzetapparátusának felépítése és működtetése pedig úttörő vállalkozás a hálózati kiadás területén.
A Kosztolányi Dezső: Levelezése 1. (1902–1907) nemcsak a Kosztolányi által írt leveleket tartalmazza, hanem a neki írtakat is. A szegény kisgyermek panaszai kötet nagy apparátussal mutatja be az összefüggéseket a ciklus különböző változatai, illetve a ciklus és a többi korabeli Kosztolányi verseskötet között. A Béla, a buta és A rossz orvos kritikai kiadása Kosztolányi 1920-ban megjelent két, kisregényeket és elbeszéléseket tartalmazó kötetét dolgozza fel. Az Édes Anna hálózati kritikai kiadása a 2010-es könyvkiadás felhasználásával készült, de jelentősen bővítette annak anyagát (egyrészt a kézirat fakszimiléjével, valamint egy modernizált szövegváltozattal, másrészt kiegészíti a 2010 utáni kiadások és értelmezések adataival). További két kötet (Levelezés 2. és A bús férfi panaszai) munkálatai is megkezdődtek.
A munka melléktermékeként tanulmányokat is publikáltunk, köztük a könyvterjedelmű Kosztolányi Ady-komplexuma. Filológiai regény cím monográfiát, amely felfogható Kosztolányi Ady-revíziója kritikai kiadásának.

Within the framework of the project, three volumes were published (Letters 1., 1901-1907, The Complaints of a Sad Child, Béla the Fool / The Bad Doctor) and a network publication (Anna Édes). In three of the four volumes, new methods were needed: the volumes of letters and poems are our first trials in these genres, and the structure and operation of the notes is a pioneering work in the field of network editions.
The first volume of the Letters of Dezső Kosztolányi (1901-1907) contains not only the letters written by Kosztolányi but also those addressed to him. The volume of The Complaints of the Sad Child demonstrates, with a huge set of notes, the interrelations between the variations of the cycle as well as the other Kosztolányi poems of the age. The critical edition of Béla the Fool and The Bad Doctor is an edition of the the volumes short novels and stories of 1920. The network critical edition of Anna Édes has been prepared using the 2010 edition but significantly enlarged the material (partly by the facsimile of the manuscript and a modernized text variation and partly supplemented with the editions and interpretations after 2010). Preparations for another two volumes (Letters 2. and The Complaints of a Sad Man) has also begun.
As a by-product of the work, studies were published, among others the book entitled The Ady Complex of Kosztolányi – A Philological Novel which can be considered as a critical edition of Kosztolányi`s work on Ady.
