Az általunk leírt neurotensin tartalmú agypálya a nucleus accumbens (NAc) core és a nucl. parabrachialis között házityúkban anatómiailag eltér a megfelelő emlős pályától, az emlősök és madarak eltérő táplálkozási stratégiájának és az ezzel kapcsolatos emléknyom-képződésnek megfelelően. Pályakövetéses vizsgálatokkal leírtuk az amygdalofugalis pálya pontos lefutását csirkében. A pálya egyidejűleg vetít a NAc-re és a kiterjesztett amygdalára. Fiatal csirkéken a NAc roncsolása nem érintette a csoportpreferenciát, de fokozta a szociális izolációt követő stressz-vokalizációt. Az eredmények alapján a NAc olyan döntések elemzésénél fontos, amikor a kiváltó pozitív vagy negatív stimulus maga nincs jelen. Agyi szöveti- és mikrodialízis-minták analizisével leírtuk az L- és D-aszpartát (D-Asp) agyterületek szerinti megoszlását és fejlődésbeli változásait csirkeagyon. D-Asp-tal krónikusan kezelt egerek téri tanulása javul a Morris-féle vízi útvesztő tesztben. A tanulás-erősítő hatást – a korábbi feltételezésekkel ellentétben – nem kíséri fokozott neurogenezis. Két énekesmadár-fajon leírtuk vasotocin és VIP peptidek agyi előfordulási helyeit, összefüggésben e fajok eltérő ivadékgondozási szokásaival. Ún. ‘designer droggal’ (MDPV) krónikusan kezelt terhes egéren romlik az anyai gondozási képesség. A hatás oka nem a hipotalamikus szabályozás zavara, mert TIP39 és amylin (a laktációban és az anyai viselkedésben szerepet játszó peptidek) kifejeződése nem változik.
Results in English
The described neurotensinergic pathway between the nucleus accumbens (NAc) core and parabrachial nucleus, in chicken, anatomically differs from the corresponding pathway in mammals, in agreement with different feeding stategies and memory formation of mammals and birds. Pathway tracing studies enabled precise topographic description of the amygdalofugal pathway in chicken, projecting simultaneously on the NAc and extended amygdala. Lesions to the NAc, combined with socially driven behaviors in young domestic chicks did not affect social group preference but vocalization under social isolation stress was enhanced. The findings indicate that NAc is active in decision-making in absence of detectable rewarding or repulsive cues. Based on analytical studies of tissue extracts and microdialysis samples, we described the developmental and regional distribution of L- and D-aspartate (D-Asp) in chick brain. Chronic treatment of mice with D-Asp improved spacial learning in the Morris water maze task, and – contrary to previous suggestions – this was not due to enhanced neurogenesis. The distribution of vasotocin and VIP peptide was described in two songbird species in relation to different parental care strategies. Pregnant female mice chronically treated with the ‘designer drug’ MDPV showed impaired maternal care, which could not be ascribed to hypothalamic dysregulation, since expression of TIP39 and amylin (peptides implicated in lactation and maternal behavior) remained unaltered.
