A kutatás célja olyan képrekonstrukciós módszerek kidolgozása volt, melyek képesek az előállítandó képről rendelkezésre álló a priori információt felhasználva a hagyományos módszerek által szolgáltatottnál jobb minőségű képet előállítani, lényegesen kevesebb vetületből is. Az alábbi alakzat leírókat vizsgáltuk meg kiterjedtebben: konvexitás, mintázat, objektumváz, irányultság, hasznos vetületek. Az elméleti megfigyeléseink alapján sikerült hatékony képrekonstrukciós algoritmusokat terveznünk. Az elért eredmények az ipari nem roncsoló tesztelés területén hasznosíthatóak. Eredményeinket 9 folyóiratcikkben, 23 konferenciakiadványban és 7 absztraktban publikáltuk.
Results in English
The aim of the research was to develop image reconstruction methods capable of incorporating prior information of the image to be reconstructed in order to achieve better image quality, from much fewer projections. We extensively investigated the following image descriptors: convexity, texture, object skeleton, orientation, informative projections. Based on our theoretical observastios, we succeeded to develop efficient reconstruction algorithms. The results are mainly applicable in industrial non destructive testing. We published our results in 9 journal articles, 23 conference proceedings and 7 abstracts.
