A kutatás során három vegetációs időszakban, két klímaváltozást szimuláló kísérleti területen terepi vizsgálatokat végeztem: mértem a talaj széndioxid-kibocsátását, az ökoszisztéma gázcserét és a mikrometeorológiai változókat, valamint több ízben talajmintát vettem talajkémiai vizsgálatokhoz. A nyílt homoki gyepben a talaj szénkibocsátása a hőmérséklet emelkedésével csak egy optimum értékig, kb. 30°C talajfelszíni hőmérsékletig nő, amelyet befolyásol a talaj nedvességtartalma is. A szénforgalom volumenét korlátozza még a talaj alacsony szervesanyagtartalma. Mind az extrém, mind a mérsékelt aszály csökkentette, míg az öntözés növelte a talajlégzést, de csak átmenetileg: ez a hatás a következő évben már nem volt kimutatható. A szénforgalom modellezése különböző vízellátottságú gyepekben megmutatta a változó talajvízszint integrálásának jelentőségét a modellbe. Ezen kívül a mért adatokkal való kalibráció a szárazabb gyepeknél jobban növelte a modell teljesítményét, mint a nedves gyepeknél.
Results in English
During the study across three vegetation periods, in two climate experimental fields (an open sand grassland and a grassland mosaic with white poplar sprouts), I accomplished the following field measurrement: soil CO2 efflux and ecosystem gas exchange, micrometeorological variables. Furthermore, I took more times soil examples for soil chemical investigations. In the open sand grassland the rate of soil CO2 efflux may increase with increasing temperature only to a certain extent, around 30°C soil surface temperature. In addition, CO2 efflux is influenced by the soil moisture content. Also, the volume of the carbon cycling is limited by the low nutrient content of the soil. Both extreme and moderated drought decreased, while irrigation increased soil respiration rate, but only temporarely. These effects were no more detectable in the next year. Modeling carbon cycle in grasslands of different water availability showed the importance of integrating groundwater level in the model. We also found that the calibration of model by field measurement data enhanced the model performance, rather for dry grasslands than wet grasslands.
