Az ökoszisztémák állapotjellemzői (EC) és az általuk biztosított szolgáltatások (ES) kapcsolatára vonatkozó ismeretek bővítése és szisztematikus áttekintése az erre vonatkozó, egyre bővülő kutatási és gyakorlati alkalmazások miatt egyre fontosabb. Kutatásunk ezt a célt tűzte ki, elméleti szempontú bevezető/tisztázó munkák, megvalósult nagyléptékű assessment-ek (elsősorban a nemzeti ÖSZ-értékelések) célzott áttekintése, valamint néhány szolgáltatásra vonatkozó, szisztematikus módszertanú tudományos szakirodalmi analízis segítségével. A bevezető eredményeink, a nemzeti assessment-ek áttekintése és a saját evidenciaszintézisek eredményei is alátámasztották, hogy az integrált EC-ES értékeléseket nagyban meghatározza az adatok és módszertanok elérhetősége. Az egyre több szakpolitikai alkalmazási igény szükségessé teszi egy átfogó, közel teljeskörű, robosztus tudásbázis meglétét az EC-ES kapcsolatrendszerről, lehetséges indikátorokról, stb. Ez bizonyos témák esetében még a fogalmak, a szolgáltatáshoz kapcsolódó alapvető folyamatok tisztázását is szükségessé teszi (pl. a részletes evidenciaszintézissel vizsgált árvízszabályozás esetében). De több témánál már egy adaptívan kialakított, elsődlegesen kvalitatív szintézismódszertan alkalmazását jelentheti. Munkánkban több szolgáltatáshoz, több megközelítéssel is módszertani példákat, és releváns eredményeket biztosítottunk ezekhez a továbblépésekhez.
Results in English
There is a growing demand, in research and also in policy fields, for the improvement and systematization of the knowledge about the relationships between the condition of ecosystems, and the services provided by them. This was the focuss of our research, based on introductory theoretical contributions, reviewing the results of large-scale (mainly national) ecosystem assessments, and based on literature evidence synthesis results, carried out for selected ecosystem services. All of the results confirmed that the exact topics and methodologies of integrated EC-ES assessments are highly determined by availability issues of data and relevant methods. For fulfilling the growing need for an operative, robust, integrated knowledge base on EC-ES relationships, guidances for indicator selection etc., sometimes the primary task is the clarification of basic terms and concepts related to the service in question (like for flood regulation in our work). But in many times, there is the place for an adaptive, complex, primarily qualitative evidence synthesis. In our project, we provided methodological examples and relevant results for these types of follow-up works.
