A projekt kutatási eredményeit összefoglaló angol nyelvű monográfia, mint a projekt fő vállalása,
elkészült. A monográfia címe: Minimal theism and supervised church - an interpretation of Hume's
true religion. A kézirat a beszámoló benyújtásakor külső szakmai bírálat (external review) alatt áll a
Palgrave Macmillan kiadónál. Várható megjelenés: 2024. A kéziratot pdf formátumban csatoltam a
beszámolóhoz. (A fejezetek számozása kettővel kezdődik, mivel a bevezető tekinthető az első
fejezetnek.) A szöveg angol nyelvi lektorálásának költségeit (proofreading) a projekt keretéből
finanszíroztam. A kutatás a hume-i vallásfilozófia jelentőségét újszerű módon mutatja be, átfogóan
újraértelmezi a hume-i igaz vallás fogalmát, megvilágítja annak ismeretelméleti, etikai, politikai
kontextusát, a történeti és analitikus megközelítéseket egyaránt alkalmazva. A megjelent
tanulmányok, a kutatási időszakban tartott konferencia előadások a monográfia egy-egy fejezetének
alapjául szolgáltak és a kutatás egyes mérföldköveit képezik (lásd publikációk).
Results in English
As the major commitment of the project, a monograph in English summarising the results of the
research project has been completed. The title of the monograph is: Minimal theism and supervised
church - an interpretation of Hume's true religion. The manuscript is under external peer review by
Palgrave MacMillan at the time of submission of this report. The manuscript is attached to the
report in pdf format. (The numbering of the chapters starts with two, as the Introduction is
considered the first chapter.) The costs of proofreading of the text in English were financed by the
project. This research presents a new account of the significance of Hume's philosophy of religion,
comprehensively reinterpreting the Humean notion of true religion, shedding light on its
epistemological, ethical and political context, using both historical and analytical approaches.
Published papers and conference presentations during the research period have formed the basis of
chapters in the monograph and constitute milestones in the research (see Publications).
