A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az Annual Maize Genetics Conference 1959 óta évente kerül megrendezésre, és célja az ötletek, illetve kutatási adatok megosztása világ szinten. A konferencia szervezője a MGMSC, és jelentős részben az USA-ban kerül megrendezésre. Az egyetlen nemzetközi konferencia, melynek fő témája a kukorica molekuláris genetika, mely terület legújabb eredményeinek ismerete kulcsfontosságú a kukorica nemesítés hatékonyabbá tételében. A rendezvényen mindig részt vesznek a téma nemzetközileg elismert kutatói, mely remek színtér a fiatal generáció szakmai kapcsolatainak kiépítésére, valamint kibontakozó szakmai programjuk bemutatására. A PHAB rendszeresen megrendezett nemzetközi konferencia, melyen elismert akadémikusok, kutatók, az üzleti szféra vezetői, illetve befektetők vesznek részt. A konferencia szervezője a CABI, mely egy nemzetközi kutatás-fejlesztés vezérelt szervezet. A konferencia célja a növények különböző stresszekkel szembeni rezisztenciájával kapcsolatos kutatási eredmények ismertetése, valamint a különböző szektorok szereplőinek összekapcsolása a növényi egészség biztosítása, valamint a klímaváltozás hatásainak orvoslása érdekében. A konferencia remek lehetőség nemzetközi kutatási, illetve gazdasági együttműködések kialakítására. A rendezvényeken 1-1 poszter kerül kiállításra, illetve a részvétel célja még a szakmai kapcsolat építés a jövőbeli nemzetközi együttműködések kiépítése érdekében. Célunk, hogy a konferenciákon szerzett ismeretekkel olyan növény-patogén interakciók kimutatására alkalmas molekuláris, illetve analitikai módszert fejlesszünk ki, mely képes kimutatni a genotípusok, patogének által kiváltott szignalizációjának mértékét, illetve válaszának nagyságát.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Az AMGC konferencia évente megrendezésre kerül, és az egyetlen nemzetközi konferencia, mely részletesen taglalja a kukorica molekuláris genetikai kutatások legújabb eredményeit, technikáit, mely kulcsfontosságú a kukorica nemesítés hatékonyabbá tételében. A rendezvényen minden évben részt vesznek a téma nemzetközileg is elismert kutatói, mely remek színtér, hogy a fiatal generáció szakmai kapcsolatokat építsen, valamint bemutassa kibontakozó szakmai programját. Az USA klimatikus viszonyai mindig jó predikciót mutattak számunkra, mivel számos patogén gomba faj térnyerése és az általuk okozott gazdasági, illetve élelmiszerbiztonsági problémák is náluk jelentkeztek előbb. A PHAB konferencia rendszeresen megrendezett nemzetközi rendezvény, melyen akadémikusok, kutatók, az üzleti szféra vezetői, illetve befektetők vesznek részt a fenntartható agrárszektor fejlődése, illetve a növényi egészség biztosítása, valamint a klímaváltozás hatásainak orvoslása érdekében. A konferencia célja a növények stresszekkel szembeni rezisztenciájával kapcsolatos legújabb eredmények ismertetése, valamint a különböző szektorok szereplőinek összekapcsolása. A rendezvényeken 1-1 poszter kerül kiállításra, illetve a részvétel célja még a szakmai kapcsolat építés a jövőbeli nemzetközi együttműködések kialakítása érdekében. Célunk emellett egy olyan molekuláris, illetve analitikai módszer kifejlesztése, mely rutin eljárásként képes lehet eredményeket szolgáltatni az egyes hibridek/fajták ellenállóságáról, figyelembe véve a patogének által kiváltott molekuláris jelátviteli folyamatokat, illetve a stressz válasz mértékét is. Az új módszert más növény fajok nemesítése során is kamatoztatni tudjuk majd.

The Annual Maize Genetics Conference has been held annually since 1959 and aims to share ideas and research data worldwide. The conference is organized by MGMSC and is mostly held in the USA. It is the only international conference focusing on maize molecular genetics. The latest developments in this field are key to more efficient maize breeding. The event is always attended by internationally renowned researchers of this subject, which is a great opportunity for young researchers building scientific relationships and presenting their unfolding research program. PHAB is a regular international conference attended by renowned academics, researchers, business leaders and investors. The conference is organized by CABI, an international R&D-driven organization. The aim of the conference is to present the latest research results regarding resistance of plants to different stresses and to bring participants from different sectors together to ensure plant health and address the effects of climate change. The conference is a great opportunity to establish international research and economic collaborations. One poster each will be presented at the events, and another goal of the participation is to build scientific relationships for future international collaborations. Our aim is to develop a molecular and analytical method for the detection of plant-pathogen interactions with the knowledge gained at the conferences, which is able to detect the extent of signaling of genotypes after pathogen attack and the magnitude of their response.

The AMGC conference is held annually and is the only international conference that discusses the latest results and techniques of maize molecular genetics research in detail, which is key for more efficient maize breeding. The event is attended by internationally renowned researchers of this subject every year, which is a great opportunity for the young generation to build scientific relationships and to present their unfolding research program. The climate conditions of the USA have always given us a good prediction for the future, as they have earlier experienced the spread of many pathogen fungal species and the economic and food safety problems they cause. The PHAB conference is a regular international event bringing academics, researchers, business leaders and investors together to develop a sustainable agricultural sector and ensure plant health and address the effects of climate change. The aim of the conference is to present the latest results of plant stress resistance research and to bring participants from different sectors together. One poster each will be presented at the events, and another goal of the participation is to build scientific relationships in order to establish future international collaborations. Our aim is also to develop a molecular and analytical method which can provide informations on the resistance level of each hybrid / variety as a routine procedure, taking into account the molecular signaling processes induced by pathogens and the extent of stress response. We will also be able to use the new method in breeding programs of other plant species.

A MGM részletesen taglalta a kukorica molekuláris genetikai kutatások legújabb eredményeit, technikáit. A konferencián megismerhettem az USA kutatási infrastruktúrájának jellegzetességeit, valamint egy növénykórtani témában előadást tartó PhD hallgatóval (NCSU) is sikerült ígéretes szakmai kapcsolatot kialakítanom. Ez lehetőséget teremt egy jövőbeli közös pályázat/projekt létrejöttéhez. Emellett megismerhettem, hogy az amerikai egyetemek saját nemesítési tevékenysége milyen módon próbálja fejleszteni a növények alkalmazkodóképességét a környezeti feltételekkel szemben. Ez a hazai időjáráshoz alkalmazkodó nemesítési programot segítheti. A rendezvényen 1 poszter került kiállításra.
A MW keretein belül a patogén gomba fajok által termelt mikotoxinok előfordulásának és kutatásának aktuális státuszát ismerhettem meg. Ismeretséget kötöttem számos kutatóval, akik csoportunkhoz hasonlóan a kukorica, toxikus gomba fajokkal szembeni ellenállóságát vizsgálják, valamint az országukban előforduló mikotoxinok összetételét. Együttműködésünk remek lehetőséget teremthet egy közös TéT pályázat beadásához. Emellett a növényi extraktumok, mikotoxin bioszintézis gátló hatásáról is bővebb információkat szereztem, mely a saját biokontroll projektünkkel kombinációban, egy gyakorlatorientált termékfejlesztés kivitelezését indíthatja majd el. A rendezvényen 1 poszter került kiállításra.
A rendezvények nagy hatást gyakoroltak szakmai fejlődésemre, látásmódomra és jövőbeli munkámra is.
Results in English
The MGM has focused on the latest results and techniques of maize molecular genetic research. At the conference I got to know the characteristics of the research infrastructure in the USA and I also managed to establish a promising scientific relationship with a PhD student (NCSU) who has given a talk on the topic of plant pathology. This can create an opportunity for a future bilateral application/project. In addition, I got to know how American universities' own breeding activities try to improve the adaptability of plants to environmental conditions. This can help to improve the domestic breeding program to adapt to the climate changes of Hungary. 1 poster was exhibited at the event.
At the MW conference, I got to know the current occurrence and the research status of mycotoxins produced by pathogenic fungal species. I made acquaintances with a number of researchers who are investigating the resistance of maize to toxic fungal species, as well as the composition of mycotoxins occurring in their country, like our group. Our cooperation can create a great opportunity to create a joint TéT application. In addition, I also obtained more informations on the inhibitory effect of plant extracts on mycotoxin biosynthesis, which in combination with our own biocontrol project, will enable the implementation of practice oriented product development. 1 poster was exhibited at the event.
The events had great impact on my scientific development, outlook and future work.
