A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az IEEE I2MTC konferenciája a méréstechnika és jelfeldolgozás témakörének egyik legjelentősebb, minden évben megrendezett szakmai rendezvénye. A konferencián a tudományos előadások mellett jelentős szerepet kapnak a tutorialok és az ipari kiállítók, az elfogadott konferenciacikkek pedig az IEEE Xplore digitális könyvtárában is megjelennek. A rendezvény szervezője az IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society, melynek 2020 óta vagyok tagja.
Bemutatott munkám (tenzor dekompozíciós eljárások nemlineáris rendszeridentifikációban történő alkalmazásának numerikus kérdései) határterület a rendszeridentifikáció, illetve a méréstechnika és jelfeldolgozás területei között. Az I2MTC konferencia nagyszerű alkalom arra, hogy ezt a témakört megismertessem szűkebb szakterületem tudományos közösségével. A kutatást már most is nemzetközi együttműködés keretében végzem, ez a konferencia további lehetőséget kínál arra, hogy kapcsolatrendszeremet a tengeren túl is bővítsem. A részvétel célja egy szakmai előadás megtartása, melynek során felmerülő kérdések és észrevételek segíteni fognak a kutatás folytatásában.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Az IEEE I2MTC konferenciája a méréstechnika és jelfeldolgozás témakörének egyik legjelentősebb, minden évben megrendezett szakmai rendezvénye. A konferencián a tudományos előadások mellett jelentős szerepet kapnak a tutorialok és az ipari kiállítók, az elfogadott konferenciacikkek pedig az IEEE Xplore digitális könyvtárában is megjelennek, mely előfizetői számára hatékony és gyors hozzáférést biztosít a világ bármely pontjáról.
A rendezvény szervezője az IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society, melynek 2020 óta vagyok tagja. A konferencián való részvétel Tanszékem, a Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem Villamosmérnöki és Informatikai Karának Méréstechnika és Információs Rendszerek Tanszékének több évtizedes hagyományát követi. A Tanszék szerepvállalásának kiemelkedő megnyilvánulása volt a 2001-ben Budapesten megrendezett I2MTC konferencia.
A rendezvényen nemzetközi együttműködésben végzett kutatásom eredményeit ismertetem. Kutatómunkámat egy tudományos határterületen végzem. Ennek eredményeként a jelfeldolgozás területén meglévő kompetenciámat felhasználva olyan módszereket javaslok, melyek segítségével a jelenleg publikált algoritmushoz képest 4-5-szörös sebességbeli javulás is elérhető. Az I2MTC konferencia nagyszerű alkalom arra, hogy a kutatott témakört megismertessem szűkebb szakterületem tudományos közösségével. A rendezvény továbbá lehetőséget kínál arra, hogy kapcsolatrendszeremet a tengeren túl is bővítsem. A részvétel célja egy szakmai előadás megtartása, melynek során felmerülő kérdések és észrevételek segíteni fognak a kutatás folytatásában.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. IEEE I2MTC is one of the most important conferences in the area of measurement techniques and signal processing, which takes place every year. At the conference, besides scientific presentations, a dedicated rule is given to tutorials and industrial exhibitors. Accepted papers are published in the digital library IEEE Xplore. The IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society organizes the event. I have been a member of the Society since 2020.
The presented work is the numerical aspects of tensor decomposition methods in the area of nonlinear system identification. The research is a frontier between system identification and measurement techniques/signal processing. The I2MTC conference is a great opportunity to present the research with the scientific community of my closer field of expertise. The research is already performed as a part of international cooperation. This conference offers the chance to extend my scientific network even overseas. The participation aims to hold a professional presentation. The emerging questions and remarks will help me to resume the research.

The IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society organizes the event. I have been a member of the Society since 2020. Taking part in the event follows the tradition of my department, the Department of Measurement and Information Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The outstanding manifestation of the participation of the Department was I2MTC 2001, which took place in Budapest.
During the event, I will present the scientific results of my research that is performed as a part of international cooperation. I research a scientific frontier. As a result, making use of the competencies I gathered in the area of signal processing, I propose methods that speed up currently published algorithms by a factor of 4 to 5. The I2MTC conference is a great opportunity to present the research with the scientific community of my closer field of expertise. Furthermore, the event offers the opportunity to extend my scientific network even overseas. The participation aims to hold a professional presentation. The emerging questions and remarks will help me to resume the research.

A projekt keretében a 2022. május 16. és 19. között megrendezett IEEE I2MTC 2022 (Instrumentation and Measurement under Pandemic Conditions) konferencián ismertettem tenzor dekompozíciós eljárások területén végzett kutatómunkám legfrissebb eredményeit. Erre a záró nap során tartott poszter szekcióban volt lehetőségem, melyen jelentős érdeklődés mellett számos kérdést és előremutató javaslatot kaptam. A konferencia során továbbá érdekes szakmai beszélgetéseket folytattam többek között a Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), az Aalto University (Finnország), valamint a Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (Németország) kutatóival. A konferencia jelentős mértékben hozzájárult szakmai hálóm kiterjesztéséhez, valamint az itt szerzett tapasztalatok, ötletek révén további tudományos munkámat is inspirálta.
Results in English
During the project, I exposed the latest results of my research in the area of tensor decomposition methods at the IEEE I2MTC 2022 (Instrumentation and Measurement under Pandemic Conditions) Conference. I managed to make this exposition at the poster session of the closing day, where significant interest was shown by the audience, and I got several questions and progressive suggestions. Furthermore, during the conference, I had interesting technical conversations, among others, with the researchers of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), of Aalto University (Finland), and of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (Germany). The conference contributed to the extension of my scientific network significantly, as well as it inspired my scientific work through the experience and ideas I managed to gather.
