A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az IASP a legrangosabb, fájdalommal akár kutatóként, akár gyakorló orvosként foglalkozó szakembereket összefogó nemzetközi társaság. Konferenciájuk a fájdalomkutatás kiemelkedő színvonalú és jelentőségű eseménye, ahol a téma legelismertebb szakemberei mutatják be a fájdalommal kapcsolatos legújabb kutatási eredményeket és új terápiás elveket. Kutatócsoportunk a cukorbetegség talaján kialakuló krónikus neuropátiás fájdalom mechanizmusait vizsgálja, így a konferencián való részvétel lényegesen hozzájárulhat a fájdalomkutatásban elért legfrissebb adatok megismerésében. A konferencián saját kísérleti adatainkat poszter formájában fogjuk bemutatni, ami lehetővé teszi azok megvitatását a jelenlévő szakemberekkel. A részvétel talán legfontosabb célja, hogy a személyes megbeszélésekre támaszkodva kollaborációt alakítsunk ki hasonló profilú kutatócsoportokkal. A konferencián való részvétel további hozadéka, hogy a megismert új eredményeket nemcsak az orvostanhallgatóknak mutathatjuk be az orvosképzésben tartott kötelezően választható tantárgy (Klinikai neuroanatómia) kereteiben, de intézetünk PhD és TDK hallgatói is elmélyíthetik tudásukat a témában, mellyel a tudományos utánpótlásképzéshez is hozzájárulhatunk.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Az IASP a legnagyobb fájdalomkutató társaság, konferenciájuk a fájdalommal kutatóként vagy klinikusként foglalkozó szakemberek számára kiemelkedő jelentőségű lehetőség a továbbképzésre, legújabb kutatási információk megismerésére. Kutatócsoportunk a cukorbetegekben kialakuló krónikus fájdalommal foglalkozik, amely becslések szerint több, mint százmillió embert érint világszerte. A konferencián nem csupán a saját kutatómunkánkhoz szükséges naprakész adatokkal ismerkedhetünk meg, de a saját eredményeink megvitatására is lehetőség nyílik a konferencián megjelent szakemberekkel. A személyes megbeszélések kiindulási alapot adhatnak tudományos együttműködések kialakítására is. Ezen túlmenően a fájdalommal kapcsolatos ismereteket beépíthetjük az orvosképzés programjába, hogy hallgatóink a lehető legfrissebb ismereteket sajátíthassák el.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. IASP is the most prestigious international association of professionals dealing with pain as researchers or practitioners. The annual congress organized by IASP represents an event of outstanding quality and significance in pain research, where the most renowned experts in the field present their latest pain-related research and new therapeutic principles. Our research group is investigating the mechanisms of chronic diabetic neuropathic pain, therefore, attending the conference can significantly contribute to learning about the latest data available in pain research. At the conference, presentation of our experimental data in the form of a poster will provide an unparalleled opportunity to discuss our research with other professionals. Perhaps the most important goal of participation is to establish collaborations with research groups with similar profiles based on personal discussions. A further benefit of attending the conference would be the presentation of new results not only to medical students (taking our compulsory elective course in medical education: Clinically Oriented Neuroanatomy) but also to the PhD and TDK students of our institute.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. IASP is the largest scientific association for the study of pain. Their conference is an outstanding opportunity for professionals dealing with pain as researchers or clinicians to learn about the most recent pain research. Our research group investigates chronic pain in diabetic patients, which is estimated to affect more than a hundred million people worldwide. At the conference, we will not only learn about new experimental data necessary for our own research, but we will also have the opportunity to discuss our own scientific results with leading experts. In-person discussions can also provide a starting point for establishing scientific collaborations. In addition, we can incorporate relevant data about pain into the medical education program.

Az IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain) a világ legnagyobb, fájdalomkutatókat összefogó szervezete, melynek éves konferenciáján a fájdalommal foglalkozó alap-és alkalmazott kutatások legnevesebb szakemberei, pszichológusokkal és klinikusokkal együtt páratlan gazdagságú program keretében mutatták be a téma legújabb eredményeit, trendjeit és módszereit. A szimpóziumok mellett napi 2, összesen 8 poszterszekció adott lehetőséget személyes megbeszélésekre, melyek alapján három kutatócsoporttal sikerült kollaborációs témakezdeményezésben megállapodni.

The IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain) is the world's largest association of pain researchers. At its annual conference, the most renowned experts in basic and applied research on pain, together with psychologists and clinicians, presented an unparalleled program of the latest findings, trends, and methods in the field. In addition to the symposia, 2 poster sessions per day, 8 in total, provided the opportunity for face-to-face discussions, leading to an agreement of collaborative topic initiatives with three research groups.
