A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC 2022, magyarul: A fémkomplexek nemzetközi szimpóziuma) egy évente megtartott rendezvény, ami 2022. június 5-9. között lesz megtartva Valenciában (Spanyolország). A szimpózium fő témái:a komplexképződés termodinamikája és kinetikája, oldategyensúlyi folyamatok és koordinációs kémia, fémkomplexek kölcsönhatása biomolekulákkal, reaktivitásuk és lehetséges felhasználásuk. A konferencia szokásos módon az ISMEC csoport és a helyi szervezőbizottság (ebben az esetben a Valenciai Egyetem) által van szervezve. Ez az egyik legnagyobb nemzetközi konferencia, ami a fémkomplexek oldategyensúlyi vizsgálatairól szól. Számomra nagy lehetőség, hogy PhD-hallgatóként bemutathatom az eredményeimet a komplexek termodinamikájával foglalkozó nemzetközi közönségnek. A konferencia programja számos érdekes előadást tartogat, melyeket nemcsak a híresebb kutatók, de a fiatalabbak is tarthatnak. Ezen felül még egy poszterszekció is lesz, mely alatt mindenki baráti környezetben társaloghat a bemutatott eredményekről.
Ez alatt a találkozó alatt számos módszerről szerezhetek új információt a fémkomplexek termodinamikájáról, a különböző kísérleti technikákról, a megfelelő számítógépes programokról és a számolási módszerekről is. Ezekre alapozva a kutatásom eredményesebb, átfogóbb és pontosabb lehet. Az ISMEC konferenciák a múltban is értékes találkozóknak bizonyultak, mely elősegítette az együttműködések kialakítását.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Szeretnék részt venni az International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC 2022, magyarul: A fémkomplexek nemzetközi szimpóziuma), mely Valenciában (Spanyolország) lesz megtartva. A szimpózium a fémion-tartalmú vegyületeket, azaz a fémkomplexeket tartja szem előtt. Ezen a konferencián a kutatók bemutatják új eredményeiket az új fémkomplexek előállításáról, azok oldatban való viselkedéséről és a biológiai rendszerekben előforduló molekulákkal való reakcióiról, pl. fehérjékkel és DNS-sel. A konferencia minden évben meg van tartva. A konferencián való részvétel lehetőséget ad a kutatónak, hogy részt vegyen értékes beszélgetéseken a fenti témákról. A találkozók elősegítik az új együttműködések létrejöttét eltérő háttérrel rendelkező, és így egymást kiegészítő tulajdonságú és célú kutatók között is. Az előadásokon felül a poszterszekció megadja a lehetőséget, hogy baráti környezetben, kötetlenül beszélgessenek egymással a kutatók. Minden konferencián a Tudományos Bizottság odaítéli a Fernando Pulidori Díjat egy (vagy kettő) fiatal kutatónak (PhD-hallgató), akinek egy kiemelkedő cikke jelent meg egy szakmai tudományos folyóiratban. A győzteseknek megadatik a lehetőség egy előadás megtartására, ami egy jelentős motiváció számomra is hogy pályázzak erre a díjra.
Szeretnék szóbeli előadást tartani a legújabb eredményeimen alapulva, melyeket rákellenes komplexekkel mértem. Egy ilyen esemény esélyt ad számomra, hogy nemcsak az eredményeimet tudom bemutatni egy nemzetközi közönségnek, hanem a kutatási témámban sikeres professzorokkal is beszélgethetek, és új ötleteket kaphatok a kutatásomhoz.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC 2022) is an annual event which will be held at 5-9th of June in 2022 in Valencia (Spain). The main topics of this symposium are: complexation thermodynamics and kinetics, solution equilibrium processes and coordination chemistry, metal complex interactions with biomolecules, their reactivity and their potential applications. This conference will be organized by the ISMEC group as usual and locally by the University of Valencia. This is one of the biggest international conference about solution equilibria of metal complexes. It is a great opportunity for me as PhD student to present my results to the international community of thermodynamics of complexes. The program of conference includes a lot of interesting lectures given by not only famous scientists but by young researchers as well. Moreover, there is a poster session where everyone can discuss the presented results in a friendly atmosphere.
During this meeting I can gain information about various methodologies in the study of the thermodynamics of complexes, the development of different experimental techniques, the setup of suitable computer programs and calculation methods as well. Based on these I can make my research more efficient, comprehensive and accurate. ISMEC conferences revealed to be useful and valuable meetings in the past, which facilitated the creation of many collaborative projects.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. I would like to participate at the International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC 2022) in Valencia (Spain). This symposium focuses on the recent scientific advances in the field of metal ion containing compounds, which are called metal complexes. In this conference researchers show their new results in the synthesis of new metal complexes, their behavior in solution and their reactions with biologically occurring molecules e.g. with proteins or DNA. It is held every year. The participation on this symposium gives to researchers the opportunity to be involved in a valuable discussion forum on the above topics. These meetings are fostering new collaborations among researchers from diverse backgrounds with complementary skills and goals. In addition to the lectures, a poster session will provide opportunities for informal discussions in a friendly atmosphere. In every conference the Scientific Committee gives the Fernando Pulidori Prize for one (or two) young researcher(s) (mostly PhD students), who have an outstanding article in a scientific journal. The winners have the chance to present their work as a lecture, which is a great motivation for me to apply for this prize.
I would like to present a lecture based on my recent results on anticancer metal complexes. Such kind of event will give me a chance not only show my achievements for an international audience, but also have discussion with successful professors in my research field and find new ideas for my research.

Bemutattam egy posztert az International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC) konferencián a legfrissebb eredményeimről, bioaktív fémkomplexek oldategyensúlyáról, előállításukról, rákellenes és antimikrobiális aktivitásukról. Ezen felül, alkalmam volt más kutatók előadásait meghallgatni és részt venni a diszkusszióban. A poszter szekció ideje alatt megvitattam a tapasztalataimat más fiatal kutatókkal és lehetőségem nyílt a kutatási területen híres professzorokkal is beszélgetni. Próbáltam partnereket is keresni egy jövőbeni posztdoktori pozíció kapcsán, illetve közös projektek megvalósítása érdekében.

I presented a poster at International Symposium on Metal Complexes (ISMEC) about recent results at bioactive metal complexes, their solution equilibrium, synthesis, anticancer and antimicrobial activities. Besides that, I had a chance to attend another researchers’ presentation and participate in the discussion. During poster session I could share of experience with other young researchers and had conversation with some well-known professors in my field of study. I also tried to find some collaboration for future post-doc position and common projects.
