A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A SIL100 rendezvény az International Society of Limnology (SIL), az édesvízkutatással foglalkozó egyik legrégebbi nemzetközi tudományos társaság megalapításának 100. évfordulóját ünneplő tudományos konferencia. A rendezvény helyszíne Berlin lesz, ahol a szervezetet alapították és a helyi szervező bizottság mellett a SIL elnökségi tagjai, így én is aktívan fogjuk segíteni a szervezést. Az eseményen várhatóan a terület legkiemelkedőbb kutatói, szakértők és sok fiatal kutató fog részt venni. A konferencia meghatározza a társaság, illetve a tudományterület jövőbeli munkájának irányvonalát és alkalmat nyújt együttműködések kialakítására. A konferencián előadás formájában szeretném bemutatni a doktori kutatásom eddigi eredményeit, így lehetőségem lesz visszajelzést kapni a munkámmal kapcsolatban a téma szakértőitől. Továbbá szeretném bővíteni a tudásomat a tudományterület új eredményeivel és kapcsolatokat építeni, amire a konferenciát rendező nemzetközi szervezet elnökségi tagjaként remélhetőleg sok alkalom fog nyílni.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A rendezvény egy nemzetközi konferencia a Nemzetközi Limnológiai Társaság (SIL) szervezésében, ami a társaság alapításának 100. évfordulóját ünnepli Berlinben, az alapítás helyszínén. Az eseményen az édesvizekkel foglalkozó kutatók bemutathatják a legújabb kutatási eredményeiket és új együttműködéseket alakíthatnak ki. Fiatal kutatók és doktoranduszok számára az ilyen események remek lehetőséget biztosítanak a saját munkájuk bemutatására és arra, hogy szakértőktől kapjanak érdemi visszajelzést. Továbbá sokat tanulhatnak a saját szakterületükről, új módszerekről és technológiákról és a konferenciaszervezésről is. Doktoranduszként én is az eddigi eredményeimet szeretném bemutatni előadás formájában. Illetve a SIL-ben a fiatal kutatókat képviselő elnökségi tag vagyok, így különböző értekezleteken fogok majd részt venni, melyeken a társaság jövőbeli terveit készítjük el.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. SIL100 is a scientific conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the International Society of Limnology (SIL) which is one of the oldest societies working with freshwater. The event will take place in Berlin where the society was founded, and besides the organising committee the SIL Executive Board, including myself, will actively take part in the organisation. Given the significance of the event, the number of participants is expected to be high and include many established researchers, experts and early career researchers as well. The congress will shape the future work of the society and of the research field. I would like to give an in-person presentation on the results of my PhD work so far hoping to receive feedback from the experts of the field. Additionally, I would like to expand my knowledge on the new findings and insights in limnology. Finally, I plan to network and build relationships for which I would hopefully have plenty of opportunities as a board member of the organising society.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. The event is an international conference organised by the International Society of Limnology (SIL) celebrating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the society in Berlin. At the conference, limnologist, scientists working with inland waters such as lakes or streams, can present their latest findings and find collaborating partners for future projects. For early-career researchers and PhD students, such events are great opportunities to present their work and receive useful feedback from experts in their field. Moreover, they can learn about the latest advancements in the field, new methods and technologies and about conference organisation. As a PhD student, I would also like to present my results. Additionally, I am one of the Early Career Representatives in the SIL executive board, thus I will go to meetings where we will set the future agenda for the society.

A projekt során az International Society of Limnology (SIL) - Nemzetközi Limnológiai Társaság 100. évfordulójára rendezett tudományos konferencián vettem részt és mutattam be kutatásom eredményeit. Az előadásban arról számoltam be, hogy miben különböznek a vízzel telt faodvak közösségei természetes erdőkben és nem őshonos fákból álló ültetvényeken. A rendezvény allatt különböző eseményeken és üléseken vettem részt mint SIL Bizottsági tag (Oktatásért Felelős Fiatal Kutató). A társaság legfontosabb feladata, hogy az édesvizekkel foglalkozó kutatók számára lehetőséget biztosítson kutatásaik megvitatására. A 100. évforduló így kiváló alkalom volt arra, hogy a történelem neves limnológusai előtt tisztelegve és munkájukra építve a jövő kihívásai felé fordítsuk figyelmünket.
Results in English
During the project, I attended the congress of the International Society of Limnology (SIL) celebrating the 100th anniversary of the society. I presented my work about the differences in community composition of water-filled tree holes between natural forest and non-native plantations. In addition, I attended various events and meetings as the Early Career Representative for Education of SIL. The most important role of the society is to provide a platform for freshwater scientists to be able to discuss their studies work. Thus, the 100th anniversary provided the opportunity to turn our focus to the challenges of the future while giving respect to and building on the work of the great limnologists of the past.
