A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A nemzetközi vízügyi szövetség (International Water Association) nemzetközi szinten fogja össze az ivóvíz és szenyvízkezeléssel kapcsolatos ágazatok kutatóit és szakfolyóiratait. E projekt keretében az e szövetség által szervezett két konferencián szeretnék részt venni, név szerint a Benelux és Nyugat-európai országok fiatal vízügyi szakemberei számára létrehozott konferencián (IWA BeNeLux YWP) illetve ugyanezen, szervezet világkonferenciáján (IWA WWC). Mindkét konferencia páratlan lehetőséget biztosítana a jelenlegi munkánk eredményeinek bemutatására és megvitatására a szakterület legjelentősebb és leghivatkozottabb szakembereivel.
A projekt során nem csupán diskurzus, de kooperációs partner keresését is kitűztük célul, annak érdekében, hogy vizsgálataink ne csupán hazai, de külföldi ivóvízhálózatok esetén is elvégezhetővé váljanak, így pedig olyan szoftvereszközök és megoldások váljanak kifejleszthetővé, amelyek a hazai víziközmű cégeken túl, a nemzetközi víziparban is megállhatják helyüket.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A projekt alapvető célját a kapcsolatteremtés jelenti. Ennek eszközét pedig két olyan világszínvonalú konferencián való részvételben látjuk, amelyek közül mindkettő nemzetközileg jelentős, a szakterület magasan hivatkozott művelői által gyakran látogatott fórum. Ezen illusztris közegben szeretnénk bemutatni legújabb eredményeink, amelyek fókuszában az ivóvízhálózatok szerkezeti fejlesztései, optimalizációi állnak.
E konferenciák nem csupán azért jelentenek, fontos ugródeszkát kutatásaink számára mivel találkozhatunk és visszajelzést kaphatunk e szakemberektől, hanem azért mert szeretnénk lehetőséget találni kooperációs partnerek felkutatására. Egy ilyen kooperáció pedig lehetővé tenné olyan szoftvereszközök kifejlesztését, amelyek nem csupán a hazai, de nemzetközi szinten is segítheti az ivóvízhálózatok üzemeltetőit abban, hogy kevesebb vízveszteség és energiafelvétel - áramfogyasztás - mellett szolgálják ki városaink és falvaink lakosságának egyre növekvő ivóvízszükségletét.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The Internation Water Association are worldwide connecting the drinking and wastewater researchers and the most important journals. The focus of the current project is to take part in two conferences which this association organises. Namely, the first conference is aimed at the young water professionals of Western Europe and the Benelux states, while the other conference is the World Conference of the same association. These conferences are proposing a unique possibility to present and dispute our results with and before the most renowned audience of the relevant field.
The aim of the project is not limited to the discussion of our results. Still, we are looking for possible cooperation partners to extend our pool of the analysed network with water distribution networks abroad. This analysis extension could make possible the development of such software tools, which help the Hungarian utilities and make a stand in the international water industry.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. The primary goal of the current project is networking with the most renowned researchers in the relevant field. In order to reach this goal, we have selected two influential conferences where these researchers are often taking part. Before this illustrious audience, we would like to present our newest results, - which are focusing on the optimisation and extension of water distribution networks.
These conferences are not just important because we can present and dispute our results with the most renowned researchers of the field, but because we are looking for cooperation partners. If we got the possibility to take part in international cooperation, it could make possible the development such software tools which are not just helping the domestic but the utilities abroad to serve our cities and villages continuously increasing water need, with lower energy use and smaller water losses.

A projekt keretében lehetőségem nyílt résztvenni először a IWA YWP BeNeLux konferencián, ahol a Belgium, Luxemburg és Hollandia legnevesebb egyetemeiről ismerhettem meg kollégákat. Az aktív szakmai diskurzus és szakmai háló bővülése mellett új szakmai ismeretekkel és kutatási irányokkal bővült kutatásom. Többek között lehetőségem nyílt betekinteni az In-situ biológiai monitoring és biofilm kutatás rejtelmeibe, e mellett pedig a hálózatoptimalizáció - különös tekintettel a hálózati rezíliencia optimalizáció - részleteiről tudhattam meg többet.
Ezen eseményen kívül, a pályázat még biztosította számomra a részvételt a világ legnagyobb vízügyi/vízipari konferenciáján, az IWA World Water Congress-en. Ezen esemény keretei között szintén előadóként volt lehetőségem bemutatni kutatásom jelenlegi állását a szivárgásmenedzsment területén. E munkára adott visszajelzések egy egészen új irányba terelték eddigi eredményeim, amelyekből egy Water Resources Management cikket (IF=4.415) sikerült még egyelőre beadnom és amelyre várom a visszajelzést a szakmai közösség részéről.
Ezeken kívül, mindkét esemény abstractfüzetében megjelent előadásom abstractja, valamint a World Water Congress esetében, előadásom online is közvetítésre is került a világ számos pontjára.
Results in English
As part of the project, I had the opportunity to participate for the first time in the IWA YWP BeNeLux conference, where I got to know colleagues from the most famous universities in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. In addition to the expansion of the active professional discourse and professional network, my research expanded with new professional knowledge and research directions. Among other things, I had the opportunity to look into the secrets of In-situ biological monitoring and biofilm research. In addition, I was able to learn more about the details of network optimization - especially network resilience optimization.
Besides this event, this grant ensured my participation in the world's largest water professional/water industry conference, the IWA World Water Congress. Within the framework of this event, I also had the opportunity as a speaker to present the current state of my research in the field of leakage management. The feedback given on this work has led my results so far in a completely new direction, of which I have so far managed to submit a Water Resources Management article (IF=4.415) and for which I am waiting for feedback from the professional community.
In addition to these, the abstract of my presentation was published in the abstract book of both events, and in the case of the World Water Congress, my presentation was also broadcast online to many places around the world.
