A projekt keretében megjelent a "Közoktatási kör(tér)kép – A tanulói létszámok változása a Kárpát-medence külhoni magyar közösségeiben a 2010-es években" című kiadvány mind nyomtatott, mind elektronikus verzióban. A kiadvány a négy legnagyobb lélekszámú (a romániai, szlovákiai, szerbiai és ukrajnai) magyar kisebbség anyanyelvi oktatásának helyzetét mutatja be az odajáró diákok létszámadatain, illetve azok 2010-es években bekövetkezett változásán keresztül. A kötet újdonsága, hogy egységes, a közoktatás minden szintjére kiterjedő, összehasonlítható adatokat egyrészt térképen ábrázol, másrészt ismerteti az adatokból kirajzolódó folyamatokat – különös tekintettel a kérdés demográfiai és általános társadalmi hátterére. A kiadvány műfaja atlaszként határozható meg, mivel a munka leghangsúlyosabb része az a 90 térkép, amely a magyar óvodás gyerekek és iskolai tanulók létszámára, beiskolázási arányára vonatkozó információkat települési és regionális szinten ábrázolja. A térképeket kiegészítik, értelmezésüket segítik, a folyamatokat magyarázzák a szöveges részek, továbbá a mellékletben elérhetők a részletes adatok táblázatos formában.

As the main result of the project, the publication "Public Education land/mapscape – Changes in the Number of Pupils in the Minority Hungarian Communities in the Carpathian Basin in the 2010s" was published in both printed and electronic versions. The volume presents the state of the native language education in the four largest Hungarian minorities (living in Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Ukraine) through the data on the number of children attending public education and their changes in the 2010s. The aim of the volume was to create a single, comparable database covering all levels of public education, to map the data and to describe the processes that emerge from the data, with particular reference to the demographic and general social factors. The most prominent part of this atlas is the 90 maps that present information on the number of children attending Hungarian-language kindergartens and schools, and on enrolment rates at the municipal and regional level. The maps and the data are interpreted and explained in textual sections, and detailed data in tabular form are provided as annexes.
