A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A PRES konferencia sorozat a folyamat tervezés és szintézis egy legrangosabb és legismertebb konferenciája, nemzetközi szinten. Éves szinten megrendezésre kerül, a világ minden részéről vesznek rajta részt kutatók, hogy megosszák eredményeiket. A konferencia szervezői és résztvevői között több neves folyóirat szerkesztői is megtalálhatóak. Mivel ez a tématerület egyik legrangosabb konferenciája, így rendkívüli lehetőséget biztosít a kapcsolatépítésre. A kutatási témám teljes egészében a folyamat tervezés és szintézis témakörbe tartozik, de annak több rész ágazatával is foglalkozom. A konferencia lehetőséget biztosít az újonnan felbukkanó ágazatok megismerésére, az azt publikáló kutatókkal való konzultációra, és ezáltal saját kutatási lehetőségeim bővítésére. Természetesen célom a saját munkámat előadás formájában ismertetni, ahogy a sorozat korábbi néhány évében is megtettem.
Az ESREL konferencia sorozat a biztonság és megbízhatóság témakörével foglalkozó, elsősorban európai szintű rendezvény. Az ESRA szervezet évente megrendezi a legújabb eredmények megosztása céljából. A kutatási témám kiinduló iránya az összetett rendszerek megbízhatósága volt, amellyel továbbra is foglalkozom. Azóta belekezdtem egy szorosan kötődő témakörben, a rezilienciába. Mindkettő teljesen beleillik a konferencia témájába, viszont egyikhez sincsenek külföldi kapcsolataim. Meg ilyen konferencia jó lehetőség lenne megismerkedni a hasonló témát vizsgáló kutatókkal. Egyúttal lehetőség nyílna a kutatási témámről egy előadás formájában beszélni.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A projekt célja két nemzetközi konferenciá való részvétel és előadás tartása. A PRES'22 konferencia a folyamat tervezés terület minden részével foglalkozik, nagyon színes, változatos témákat sorakoztat fel. Az ESREL 2022 konferencia kifejezett a megbízhatóság és biztonság témakörével foglalkozik, ami a kutatási témám egyik szerves része.
Mindkét konferencia esetén a cél az új eredmények ismertetése, valamint a külföldi kutatókkal való kapcsolatépítés, és esetleg közös kutatási tevékenység kialakítása.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The PRES series of conferences is one of the most well known and prestigious series in the topic of process design and synthesis. It is organized every year, and researchers participate from all around the world to share their results. Main editors of several journals participate in these events. Being one of the biggest conferences in the research area, it provides a great opportunity to build international relations with other researchers of the field. All of my research work is in the filed of process analysis and synthesis, so it fits completely within the topic of the conference. This event provides a chance to meet with other researchers, and see their work first hand. Naturally, I will also present my own novel work, similarly to previous years.
The series of ESREL conferences is organized yearly by the ESRA organization to display the newest results in the field of system reliability and safety. This is a Europe-based event series, dedicated to this topic. Reliability of complex systems as my starting research topic during my PhD studies, and it is still ongoing, currently specialized around resilience. However, I have no connections with other researchers of this field, and an event like this would be the perfect opportunity build some relations. I would also make a presentation of my own work.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. My goal for the proposal is to participate and present in two international conferences. PRES'22 is a conference that addresses all topics of process synthesis, thus containing a broad selection of research areas. The ESREL 2022 conference mainly focuses on the reliability and safety of systems, which is one of my main topics.
Both conferences would provide a great opportunity to present my new results and to meet with researchers of the same areas, possibly forming joint research works.

A projekt során részt vettem kettő nemzetközi konferencián, az ESREL 2022 konferencián Írországban (Dublin), valamint a PRES'22 konferencián Horvátországban (Bol). Az ESREL 2022 konferencia elsősorban megbízhatósággal és biztonsággal foglalkozik, ennek megfelelően egy megbízhatósági témájú előadással készültem. A PRES'22 konferencia témája a folyamat integráció és fenntarthatóság, ahol egy saját előadásom volt reziliencia témában, valamint társzerzője voltam egy másik előadásnak hőcserélő hálózat szintézis témakörben. Az előadásokhoz cikk csak a konferenciakiadványban jelent meg, viszont mindegyik meghívásra került impakt faktoros (Q1-es) folyóirat különszámába, amelyek leadási határideje 2023 januárjában van (a beszámoló írásának idejében már leadásra kerültek, és bírálatra várnak).

As part of the projekt I attended two international scientific conferences: ESREL 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, and PRES'22 in Bol, Croatia. The main topic of ESREL 2022 is reliability and safety of systems. Accordingly, my presentation was about reliability of processing systems. On the other hand, PRES'22 specializes in process integration and sustainability, where I had a presentation in the topic of resilience. In addition I was a co-author of another presentation about synthesis of heat exchanger networks. Short papers appeared only in the conference proceedings, however, both works of PRES'22 were invited to special issues in impact factor journal (Q1 journals), for which the submission deadlines are in January, 2023 (at the time of writing this report these are already submitted and waiting for review).
