A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A 26th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR2022) az International Association for Pattern Recognition szervezet által kerül megrendezésre 2022. augusztus 21-25. között Montreálban. Az ICPR a képfeldolgozás, számítógépes látás, alakfelismerés területén a legnevesebb konferenciák közé tartozik, kb. 50%-os elfogadási rátával, kétévente kerül megrendezésre. Számos elismert meghívott kutató tart nívós előadást az elért eredményeiből, és lehetőség van publikálásra is. A konferencia kiadványban a számítógépes képfeldolgozás területén elért új eredményeimet szeretném publikálni, valamint prezentálni azt poszter vagy előadás formájában. Doktori képzésem alatt a számítógépes képfeldolgozás területén végeztem kutatásokat, eredményeimet nemzetközi konferenciákon és folyóiratban publikáltam, valamint a doktori értekezésem alaptémáját is ez a terület szolgáltatta. Az elért eredményeket szeretném tovább bővíteni, valamint további nemzetközi kapcsolatokat kiépíteni.
Fokozatszerzésem után bekapcsolódtam egy másik kutatási területbe is, melynek célja a fogyatékkal élők lehetőségeinek szoftveres támogatása. A 14th International Conference on Disability, Virtual Reality & Associated Technologies (ICDVRAT2022) konferencia célja a virtuális valóság és hasonló technológiák kutatása a betegséggel (esetleg fogyatékkal) élő emberek segítésére, mely a University Lusófona (Lisszabon, Portugália), valamint Nottingham Trent University (Nottingham, Anglia) szervezésével kerül megrendezésre várhatóan 2022 szeptemberében. Ezen a konferencián az új területen elért eredményeket kívánom publikálni és megismerkedni a szakterület kutatóival.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. The 26th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR2022) is organized by the International Association for Pattern Recognition from August 21-25, 2022 in Montreal. ICPR is one of the most well-known conferences in the field of image processing, computer vision and pattern recognition with an acceptance rate of 50%. It is held every two years. Many famous invited researchers give high-quality lectures on their achievements, and there is an opportunity to publish my research. In the conference publication, I would like to publish my new achievements in the field of computer image processing, as well as present it in the form of a poster or oral presentation. During my PhD studies, I conducted research in the field of computer image processing and published the results in international conferences and journals. The basic topic of my PhD thesis was also provided by this field. I would like to further extend the results achieved and deepen international relations. Recently, I became involved in another area of research aimed at assistive technologies for people with disabilities. The 14th International Conference on Disability, Virtual Reality & Associated Technologies (ICDVRAT2022) aims to explore virtual reality and similar technologies to help people with illness (disability). A projekt során személyesen vettem részt a pályázatomban megjelölt két konferencián. Az ICDVRAT konferencián kutatótársaimmal két közleményt prezentáltunk, melynek megjelenése folyamatban van. Mindemellett fontos cél volt még a jelenlegi naprakész kutatások megismerése, információ-és tapasztalatcsere más országok kutatóival, inspirációszerzés a további kutatásaimhoz. Véleményem szerint a kitűzött célokat sikeresen teljesítettem. Színvonalas előadásokat hallhattam, hasznos eszmecserékben volt részem, valamint vezetett kerekasztal beszélgetés alkalmával a hallgatóság soraiból megismerhettem vezető pozícióban lévő kutatónők életpályái során felmerült nehézségeket, és azok leküzdésére alkalmazott módszereket.
Results in English
During the project, I personally participated at the two conferences indicated in my application. At the ICDVRAT conference two publications were presented. In addition, an important goal was to get to know the up-to-date scientific literature, exchange information and experience with researchers from other countries, and gain inspiration for my further research. In my opinion, I have successfully achieved the set goals. I was able to listen to high-quality lectures, take part in useful exchanges of ideas. Besides, during a guided round table discussion, I was able to learn about the difficulties encountered during the careers of women researchers in leading positions, and the methods used to overcome them.
