A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) által szervezett konferenciák rendre összehívják a világ legnívósabb kutatóit saját szakterületükön belül. A konferenciára számos országból érkeznek kutatók, akik a legfrissebb – sokszor közlés előtt álló – kutatási eredményeikről számolnak ott be. Az általam megpályázott konferencia a kalcium jelátvitelre összpontosít. Számos bizonyíték támasztja alá, hogy a kalcium jelátvitel a saját kutatásaim fókuszában álló porcképződés folyamatában is kulcsszerepet játszik (ld. a témában megjelent korábbi közleményeimet), így okom van bizakodni, hogy a konferencia során szerzett ismereteim és kapcsolataim előmozdíthatják a saját kutatói pályámat. A GRC konferenciák egyik alappillére, hogy igen jó lehetőséget biztosítanak szakmai eszmecserék lefolytatásához, szakmai kapcsolatok kiépítéséhez. A közelmúltban tudományos fokozatot szerzett kutatóként különösen fontosnak tartom azt, hogy nemzetközi kollaborációkat sikerüljön kialakítanom potens kutatókkal. Ezek kapcsán pedig bízom abban, hogy így a jövőben nemzetközi pályázatok benyújtásában is lehetőségem lesz gondolkodni. A konferencián poszter bemutatásával szeretném ismertetni a kutatási eredményeinket. A rendezvény további jelentőségét az adja számomra, hogy hazánkban a szakág igen szűk mivolta nem teszi lehetővé egy ilyen nagyszabású találkozó megszervezését.

Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. Conferences organized by the Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) traditionally gather researchers of the highest caliber from their own fields. The conference hosts researchers from numerous countries, who present their latest research results – often even prior to those being published. The conference that I apply for focuses on calcium signaling. An abundance of evidence supports the fact that calcium signaling plays a significant role in chondrogenesis, which is the main focus of my own research (please see my previous publications on this topic). Therefore, I have well-founded hope that the knowledge and connections gained during this conference would help drive my own research career forward. One of the main characteristics of GRC conferences is that they provide excellent opportunities for exchanging ideas and thus forming professional bonds. As a fresh postdoc researcher, I consider forming international collaborations with potent researchers a vital task. As a consequence of which, I trust that I will be able to consider the submission of international grant proposals in the future. At the conference I would like to present our research results by means of a poster presentation. In my view, further importance of this particular conference lies in the fact that hence this is such a narrow field of research, it is not possible to organize an event of similar caliber in Hungary.

A konferenciára számos országból érkeznek kutatók, akik a legfrissebb kutatási eredményeikről számoltak ott be. Az általam megpályázott konferencia a kalcium jelátvitelre összpontosított. Számos bizonyíték támasztja alá, hogy a kalcium jelátvitel a saját kutatásaim fókuszában álló porcképződés folyamatában is kulcsszerepet játszik (ld. a témában megjelent korábbi közleményeimet), megítélésem szerint a konferencia során szerzett ismereteim és kapcsolataim előmozdították, illetve előre fogják mozdítani a saját kutatói pályámat. A GRC konferenciák egyik alappillére, hogy igen jó lehetőséget biztosítanak szakmai eszmecserék lefolytatásához, szakmai kapcsolatok kiépítéséhez, ez az általam meglátogatott esemény esetében is így volt. Conferences organized by the Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) traditionally gather researchers of the highest calibre from their own fields. The conference hosts researchers from numerous countries, who presented their latest research results. The conference that I applied for focuses on calcium signaling. An abundance of evidence supports the fact that calcium signaling plays a significant role in chondrogenesis, which is the main focus of my own research (please see my previous publications on this topic). In hindsight, I think that the knowledge and connections gained during this conference helped and will help drive my own research career forward. One of the main characteristics of GRC conferences is that they provide excellent opportunities for exchanging ideas and thus forming professional bonds. As a fresh postdoc researcher, I consider forming international collaborations with potent researchers a vital task. At the conference, I presented our latest research results by means of a poster presentation.
