Summary in Hungarian A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése
Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében.
A projekt keretében a szervezők felkérésre előadást kívánok tartani az “International Conference on Animal Life Histories” című nemzetközi konferencián, melynek a Bázeli Egyetem Környezettudományi Tanszéke ad otthont. Szervezői Prof. Sabine Deschler-Erb, Dr. Idoia Grau, Dr. Monika Schernig és Dr. Markus Wild, valamennyien vezető szakemberek a szakmában. A tanszék évtizedek óta része a nemzetközi tudományos hálózatnak, számos külföldi szakembert és doktoranduszt vonzva és foglalkoztatva.
A konferencia az ember-állat kapcsolatot egy új szemszögből, az állatra mint egyénre tekintve kívánja a bölcsészet- és természettudományok különböző szakterületei (régészet, történettudomány, művészettörténet, genetika, állatgyógyászat) felől megvitatni. Az előadókat számos országból, szakterületük szerint kiválasztva hívták meg az időhatárokon is átnyúló, a múltra és jelenre (pl. etikai megfontolások) egyaránt reflektáló eszmecserére.
Jómagam mint madárcsont-specialista, a szervezők kívánságára a paleopatológiai esetekről tartanék előadást „Human-animal relationship on the example of bird bone pathologies” címmel. Előadásomban a hazánkból ismert régészeti és recens madárcsontleleteken azonosított betegségeket és azok előfordulását mutatom be, kitérve a vad- és házi madárfajok érintettségére, környezeti és kulturális sajátosságaira (sérülések, genetikai eredetű betegségek, tenyésztés, fertőzések, járványok, emberi gondozás).
Nemzetközi és interdiszciplináris jellegénél fogva a konferencia lehetőséget biztosít a személyes, magyarországi régészeti leletanyagok és recens gyűjtemények vizsgálatain alapuló eredményeim bemutatására, a tudományterületem, intézetem és a magyarországi régészeti kutatások népszerűsítésére; hozzájárul a szakmai fejlődésemhez, a kapcsolatrendszerem kialakításához és ápolásához, későbbi tervek és együttműködések létrejöttéhez. Az eredményeket a szervezők a széles nyilvánosság számára hozzáférhetővé teszik, az előadásokat pedig publikálni kívánják.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára

A nemzetközi konferencia témája az ember-állat kapcsolat a múltban és jelenben, amit a bölcsészettudományok (pl. régészet, történettudomány, művészettörténet) és természettudományok (pl. genetika, állatgyógyászat) felől egyaránt megközelítve vitatnak meg a személyes meghívásra érkező szakemberek.
Madárcsont-specialistaként a „Human-animal relationship on the example of bird bone pathologies” című előadásomban a hazánkból ismert régészeti és recens madárcsontleleteken azonosított betegségeket és azok előfordulását kívánom bemutatni a különböző vad- és házi madárfajok érintettségén, környezeti és kulturális sajátosságain (sérülések, genetikai eredetű betegségek, tenyésztés, fertőzések, járványok, emberi gondozás) keresztül.
Nemzetközi és interdiszciplináris jellegénél fogva a konferencia lehetőséget biztosít a személyes, magyarországi régészeti leletanyagok és recens gyűjtemények vizsgálatain alapuló eredményeim bemutatására, a tudományterületem, intézetem és a magyarországi régészeti kutatások népszerűsítésére; hozzájárul a szakmai fejlődésemhez, a kapcsolatrendszerem kialakításához és ápolásához, későbbi tervek és együttműködések létrejöttéhez. További jelentősége, hogy a szervezők az eredményeket a széles nyilvánosság számára hozzáférhetővé teszik, az előadásokat kötet formájában kívánják megjelentetni.
| Summary Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation
Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career.
The aim of the project is, according to the personal invitation of organizers, to give a lecture at the ‘International Conference on Animal Life Histories’. The meeting is hosted by the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Basel, and organized by Prof. Sabine Deschler-Erb, Dr. Idoia Grau, Dr. Monika Schernig and Dr. Markus Wild. The department has been part of the international scientific network for decades, attracting many foreign experts and PhD students.
The conference will discuss the human-animal relationship from a new perspective, looking at the animal as an individual, from different disciplines in the humanities and natural sciences (archaeology, (art) history, genetics, veterinary medicine). Speakers have been invited from a wide range of countries, selected according to their specialization, to reflect on both the past and present (e.g. ethical considerations) events, and across time boundaries.
As a bird bones specialist, I will give a presentation entitled ‘Human-animal relationship on the example of bird bone pathologies’. I shall present the diseases and their occurrence identified in archaeological and recent bird bone specimens from Hungary, including the involvement of both wild and domestic species, and their environmental and cultural specificities (injuries, genetic diseases, breeding, infections, epidemics, human care).
Due to its international and interdisciplinary character, the conference provides an opportunity to present my personal results based on the study of archaeological finds and recent collections in Hungary as well as to promote my field of study, my institute and the archaeological investigations in Hungary. It provides an opportunity for my professional development, to the establishment and maintenance of my network of contacts, to the creation of future plans and collaborations. The results will be made available to the general public and the presentations will be published.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience
Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results.
The aim of the project is to present a paper according to the invitation of organisers at the ‘International Conference on Animal Life Histories’ held at the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Basel, an internationally embedded institution, and organised by leading researchers in the field.
The theme of the meeting is the human-animal relationship in the past and present, which will be discussed by invited experts from a wide range of humanities and sciences (e.g. archaeology, history, genetics, veterinary medicine).
As a specialist in bird bones, I have been invited to give a presentation in avian palaeopathology. In my lecture entitled "Human-animal relationship on the example of bird bone pathologies", I shall present the various diseases identified in archaeological and recent bird bone specimens from Hungary, their occurrence in both wild and domestic species as well as the environmental and cultural implications (injuries, genetic diseases, breeding, infections, epidemics, human care).
Due to its international and interdisciplinary nature, the conference provides an opportunity to present my personal results based on the study of archaeological finds and recent collections in Hungary as well as to promote my field of study, my institute, and the archaeological investigations in Hungary.
