A kérelmezett és jóváhagyott projektlemondás miatt szakmai munka nem történt. A Szabadulás a
Budavári Labirintusból című pályázat nem valósult meg.
A pályázati alap koncepció volt, hogy a „Szabadulás a Budavári Labirintusból” bárki számára elérhető, élmény alapú, innovatív virtuális akadálypálya a Nemzeti Alaptanterv kiemelkedő jelentőségű földtani és környezetvédelmi témáiról. Célunk a Földtani és Geokémiai Intézet nemzetközi élvonalbeli kutatásai közül az általános és középiskolai oktatásban is fontosak játékos, mégis szakmailag hiteles bemutatása.
A projekt vezető kutatóját, azonban a gazdasági nehézségek miatt nem tudta tovább foglalkoztatni a CSFK FGI, a vezető kutató elhelyezkedni csak pályaelhagyóként tudott ideiglenesen, így a pályázat megvalósítása ellehetetlenült.

Due to the requested and approved project cancellation, no professional work took place.
According to the original plans the „Escape from the Labyrinth of Buda Castle” is an openly available, experience-based innovative virtual escape room about geological and environmental topics of interest included in the National Curriculum. Our aim is to present several topics related to Earth science from the cutting-edge projects of the Geological and Geochemical Institute in a playful yet still professional manner.
However, due to economic difficulties, the CSFK FGI could no longer employ the project's lead researcher, the lead researcher was only able to find employment temporarily as a career leaver, so the implementation of the application was impossible.
