A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az EGU konferencia a földtudományi szakemberek legjelentősebb Európai éves találkozója, amin 18 000-20 000 kutató vesz részt a világ több mint 130 országából. A földtani közeggel kapcsolatos összes diszciplina aktuális eredményeinek bemutatására kerül sor az egy hetes rendezvényen, így az egyik legnagyobb jelentőségű tudományos konferenciának számít. Az általam megjelölt témában jártas szakemberek 2017 óta hirdetik meg az emberi hatások környezetre való komplex hatásainak elemzésével és mérséklésével foglalkozó szekciót. A szekció az előadók számára minden évben publikációs lehetőséget biztosít (Springer, Elsevier folyóiratokban), mely lehetőséggel már többször éltem (lásd publikációs lista). Emellett a saját szekció szervezése segít a nemzetközi kapcsolatok kiépítésében és fenntartásában. A multidiszciplináris "Komplex esettanulmányok az ökoszisztémák klimatikus és hidrológiai szélsőségekre adott reakcióiról" elnevezésű szekció immár 5. éve fogadja az előadókat, érdeklődőket nemzetközi kooperációban (szerb, szlovák, magyar, lengyel, osztrák és német). A bizottság hagyományosan minden évben más és más tagokból alakul meg, más ország elnökletével (tavaly én voltam, jövőre szlovák elnök lesz), a szekcióban pedig Erdőmérnöki Kar intézeteiben művelt tudományágakban is számos előadás és poszter kerül bemutatásra.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Az EGU konferencia a földtudományi szakemberek legjelentősebb Európai éves találkozója, amin 18 000-20 000 kutató vesz részt a világ több mint 130 országából. Az ide érkező szakemberek tájékozódhatnak a geológia, talajtan, hidrológia és ökológia aktuális kutatásairól és eredményeiről. Ezen kívül olyan érdekességekkel is találkozhatnak, mint az űrkutatáshoz (pl. marsi kőzetek vizsgálata) vagy az aktuális katasztrófákhoz (pl. Fukushima) kapcsolódó kutatások. A szekcióban tartott előadásom során eddig is sok észrevételt és építő kritikát kaptam, melyet be tudtam építeni a kutatásomba. A konferencián rengeteg hasonló káros környezeti hatásokkal foglalkozó témát ismerhetek meg és az alkalmazott megoldási lehetőségeteket is. Ezen tapasztalatokat felhasználva szakértői tevékenységet (pl. Sopron MJV környezetvédelmi programjának kidolgozása) és tanacsadást tudok végezni. Ezen kívül az oktatásba is be tudom építeni az eredményeimet.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The EGU conference is the largest annual meeting of earth scientists in Europe, attended by 18 000-20 000 researchers from more than 130 countries. The current results of all disciplines related to the geological medium will be presented at the one-week event, making it one of the most important scientific conferences. Since 2017, experts in the field I have identified have published a section on analyzing and mitigating the complex impacts of human impacts on the environment. The session provides speakers with the opportunity to publish each year (in Springer, Elsevier journals), an opportunity I have used several times (see publication list). In addition, organizing a section will help to build and maintain international relationships. The multidisciplinary session entitled "Complex Case Studies on the Responses of Ecosystems to Climatic and Hydrological Extremes" invites speakers in the frame of international cooperation for five years (Serbian, Slovak, Hungarian, Polish, Austrian, and German). The committee is traditionally made up and chaired by different members each year (I was the chairperson last year, Slovakia is next). The section also presents several lectures and posters in the disciplines of the Faculty of Forest Engineering.

The EGU conference is the largest annual meeting of earth scientists in Europe, attended by 18,000-20,000 researchers from more than 130 countries. Experts become informed about current research and result in geology, soil science, hydrology, and ecology. In addition, you may come across curiosities such as research related to space exploration (e.g., the study of Martian rocks) or current disasters (e.g., Fukushima). During my presentation in the section, I have received many comments and constructive criticisms so far that I have been able to incorporate into my research. At the conference, I can learn about similar topics dealing with different environmental impacts and the possible solutions. Using this experience, I can manage expert activities (e.g. participation in the development of the Sopron MJV environmental program). In addition, I can incorporate my results into education.

Az Európai Földtudományi Unió Közgyűlése (European Geosciences Union General Assembly) idén 2022. május 23-27. között került megrendezésre (www.egu22.eu).
A konferencia a földtudományi szakemberek legjelentősebb európai éves találkozója, ahol a kapcsolódó tudományágakban idén 12,332 prezentációt lehetett megtekinteni. A konferencia első napján érkeztem és igyekeztem minél több számomra érdekes kutatást meghallgatni és kérdezni a szakemberektől.
Május 25-én délelőtt került megtartásra az EGU több tagozatában (Biogeosciences, Hydrological Sciences) meghirdetett Komplex esettanulmányok az ökoszisztémák klimatikus és hidrológiai szélsőségekre adott reakcióiról (Complex case studies for ecosystem responses to climate and hydrological extremes) című multidiszciplináris szekció, melynek szervezésében közreműködtem.
A szekció immár 6. éve fogadja az előadókat, érdeklődőket és több európai - szlovák, német, szerb – illetve kínai, amerikai kutatóhely is eredményekkel jelent meg összesen 24 előadással.
Az előadást tervezett program szerint megtartottam. Több kérdést is kaptam az érdeklődőktől, melyeket igyekeztem megválaszolni. Felkérést kaptam egy minőségi folyóiratban való publikálásra.

This year, the European Geosciences Union General Assembly was held between 23-27 May 2022. (www.egu22.eu).
The conference is the most important European annual meeting of earth science specialists.
12 332 presentations were held in related disciplines this year. I arrived at the conference on the first day. I tried to catch as many presentations as possible that were interesting to me and to ask questions from the experts.
On the morning of May 25th, the multidisciplinary section called "Complex case studies for ecosystem responses to climate and hydrological extremes" was held. I participated as a lecturer and an organizer as well.
For the 6th year now, the section welcomes speakers and interested researchers. Several European - Slovakian, German, Serbian - and a few non-European - Chinese and American - research have also presented results with a total of 24 presentations.
I held my lecture according to the planned program. I received several questions from interested parties, which I tried to answer. I had an invitation for publication in a quality journal.
