1) A „Belépés csak kutyával” 31 részes, 8-30 perces videósorozat Etológia Tanszék 2021-ben publikált kutatási eredményeit mutatja be magyar és angol nyelven. Így a vizsgálatainkban részt vett gazdák megismerhetik, milyen kutatási eredmények születtek a közreműködésükkel.
2) A „Viselkedésbiológia Nektek – Veletek” 6 részes, 12-22 perces kisfilmsorozat célja az etológusok módszereinek és kutatásainak bemutatása. Az első két módszertani epizód hiánypótló, a kutatás folyamatát mutatja be a kérdés feltevésétől kezdve az eredmények megszületéséig. A további részekben a nagyobb kutatócsoportok mutatkoznak be (Szenior Családi Kutya Program, Alfa Generáció Labor, Neuroetológiai Kutatócsoport, Társállat Kutatócsoport).
3) Az Etológia tanszék két akadémikus professzorával, Csányi Vilmossal és Miklósi Ádámmal készített 77 perces interjú bepillantást nyújt a tanszék történetébe vezetői nézőpontból, megismerhetjük a jó kutatási téma keresésének és megalapozásának nehézségeit, sikereit és azt, hogyan működik a kutatás, milyen a kutatók világa.
A videók segítségével a nagyközönség betekintést nyerhet a nemzetközileg is elismert ELTE Etológia Tanszék munkájába és megismerheti munkatársait. Egyedi, hogy a filmsorozat alkotói maguk is kutatók, így az angol nyelven írt szakcikkeket úgy teszik érthetővé, hogy közben azok nem veszítenek a hitelességükből. Videóink egyszerre szolgálják a tudományos előrehaladást és az állattartók tájékozottságának, tudatosságának növelését.
Results in English
1) The 31-part, 8-30 minute video series "Entry only with a dog" presents the research results of the Department of Ethology published in 2021 in Hungarian and English. In this way, the dog owners who participated in our investigations can find out what research results have been achieved with their participation.
2) The purpose of the 6-part, 12-22 minute short film series "Behavioral Biology For You - With You" is to present the methods and research of ethologists. The first two methodological episodes fill in the gaps, presenting the process of the research from formulating the research question to writing the publication and dissemination. In the following sections, the larger research groups are presented (Senior Family Dog Project, Alpha Generation Laboratory, Neuroethology Research Group, Companion Animal Research Group).
3) A 77 min interview with the two academic professors of the Department of Ethology, Vilmos Csányi and Ádám Miklósi, provides a glimpse into the history of the department from a principal investigator's point of view.
With the help of the videos, the general public can gain insight into the work of the internationally recognized ELTE Department of Ethology and get to know its staff. It is unique that the creators of the film series are researchers themselves, so the scientific articles written in English are made understandable without losing their credibility. Our videos serve both scientific progress and increase the awareness of animal keepers.
