A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A Tudományos Mecenatúra pályázat által támogatott időszak alatt a Gordon Research Conferences által szervezett Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems (GRC és GRS) nemzetközi konferencián szeretnék részt venni, ahol előadás vagy poszter formájában ismertetném legújabb kutatási eredményeimet. A GRC kutatási területünk egyik legrangosabb konferenciája, melynek keretén belül számos kutató aktuális munkájának eredményeibe nyerhetek betekintést a különféle kémiai és biológiai rendszerek nemlineáris dinamikájának területén. A GRC-t megelőző napon lehetőségem nyílna a GRS szemináriumon is részt venni, melyen hozzám hasonlóan PhD hallgatók, valamint posztdoktori állásban dolgozó kutatók tudományos munkájával ismerkednék meg. Ez utóbbi kiváló lehetőséget nyújt a fiatal kutatók számára egymás munkáját segítő hasznos felvetések megvitatására. A GRC konferencia keretén belül elhangzó előadások és a bemutatott poszterek eredményes diszkusszióját teszi lehetővé, hogy a részvevőket ugyanazon intézményben szállásolják el, ezáltal lehetőséget biztosítva arra, hogy még inkább betekintést nyerjünk egymás munkájába, esetleg közös munkák megalapozására is sor kerüljön. Témavezetőm korábbi GRC részvételének köszönhetően több nemzetközi együttműködésből is született publikációnk nemzetközi folyóiratban, így a konferencia lehetőséget adna számomra új kapcsolatok kiépítésére is. Ez utóbbi különösen hasznos lenne nekem, hiszen a PhD képzésem befejezését követően posztdoktori pozíciót is szeretnék szerezni, amelyhez a nemzetközi ismeretség nagyban hozzásegítene.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A projekt keretén belül egy, az Amerikai Egyesült Államokban megrendezésre kerülő nemzetközi konferencián szeretnék részt venni, melynek témája az egyensúlytól távoli rendszerekben lejátszódó kémiai reakciók tárgyköre. A konferencia által lehetőségem nyílik ezen tudományterület legaktuálisabb eredményeibe betekintést nyerni, ugyanis a konferencián olyan előadások, illetve poszterek kerülhetnek bemutatásra, amelyeket még nem publikáltak. A konferencia előnye továbbá az, hogy csak egy szekció van, így mindegyik előadás, illetve poszter megtekintésére, diszkussziójára alkalmam lesz. A konferencia egy városon kívüli helyszínen kerül megrendezésre, ahol minden résztvevőt egy helyen szállásolnak el, így még inkább lehetőségem lesz a tudományos fejlődésre. A konferencián az előadók száma limitált, így a rendezvény tudományos vezetősége dönti el, hogy előadás vagy poszter formájában tudják a résztvevők ismertetni munkájuk eredményét. Ennek megfelelően előadás vagy poszter bemutatásával szeretnék részt venni a konferencián és a hasznos megjegyzéseket kamatoztatni fogom további kutatómunkámban. Témavezetőm korábbi részvételeinek köszönhetően több nemzetközi együttműködésből származó cikkünk jelent már meg, így a konferencia lehetőséget nyújtana számomra új nemzetközi kapcsolatok kiépítésére, közös munkák megalapozására is, ami akár a doktori képzésemet követő posztdoktori állás szerzéséhez is nagy segítséget nyújtana.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. In my funded period, I would like to attend the Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems (GRC and GRS) international conference organized by Gordon Research Conferences. I would like to give either an oral presentation or a poster based on my latest research. GRC is one of the most prestigious conferences in our field of research. I will hear about the results of many researcher’s current work in the field of nonlinear dynamics of chemical and biological systems. I will also have the opportunity to attend the GRS seminar the day before GRC, where only PhD students and postdoctoral researchers can present their work. GRS provides an excellent possibility for young researchers to discuss useful ideas to help each other’s work. The GRC conference provides a productive discussion of the oral presentations and posters by accommodating participants in the same hotel. This gives us a chance to learn even more about each other's work and potentially to establish a collaboration. Several international cooperations have evolved as a result of my supervisor’s previous participation on this event. The results of our collaborations have been published in international journals. The conference will also give me the opportunity to build new relationships. The latter would be advantageous to me because, after completing my PhD, I would like to acquire a postdoctoral position to which international recognition is extremely helpful.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. In the framework of the project, I would like to attend an international conference in the United States of America, which will focus on chemical reactions in far-from-equilibrium systems. The conference will provide me with the opportunity to hear about the most recent findings in the field, because participants are expected to show their unpublished results. Another advantage of the event is that there is only one session, so it is required from the attendees to actively participate in every oral presentation. The conference will take place in a location outside of the city and all visitors are hosted in the same hotel. This opens up even more possibilities for scientific development. The number of speakers at the conference is limited, the scientific chair of the event selects in which way researchers can present their results. According to this, I would like to give an oral presentation or a poster and incorporate the beneficial feedback into my future research work. We have already published several articles from international cooperation thanks to my supervisor’s previous participations. Therefore, this symposium will provide me with an opportunity to establish new international relationships and collaboration, which is extremely helpful in obtaining a postdoctoral position.

A GRC kutatási területünk egyik legrangosabb konferenciája, melynek keretén belül számos kutató aktuális munkájának eredményeibe nyerhettem betekintést a különféle kémiai és biológiai rendszerek nemlineáris dinamikájának területén. A konferencia során rengeteg alkalmunk nyílt a bemutatott poszterek diszkussziójára, melynek keretén belül a kutatók olyan tanácsokkal láttak el, melyeket hasznosítani tudok további PhD munkám során. A GRC-t megelőző napon részt vettem a GRS szemináriumon is, melyen hozzám hasonlóan PhD hallgatók, valamint posztdoktori állásban dolgozó kutatók tudományos munkájával ismerkedtem meg. Ez utóbbi kiváló lehetőséget nyújtott számunkra, hogy hasznos ötletekkel segítsük egymás munkáját.

In my funded period, I attended on the Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems (GRC and GRS) international conference organized by Gordon Research Conferences. I gave an oral presentation and presented a poster based on my latest research. GRC is one of the most prestigious conferences in our field of research. I heard about the results of many researcher’s current work in the field of nonlinear dynamics of chemical and biological systems. The GRC conference provided plenty of opportunities to discuss about the presented posters, within the framework of which the researchers gave me advices that I can use during my further PhD work. I also had the opportunity to attend the GRS seminar the day before GRC, where only PhD students and postdoctoral researchers could present their work. GRS provided an excellent possibility for ourself to discuss useful ideas to help each other’s work.
