A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Két rangos nemzetközi proteomikai konferencián tervezek részt venni. A Proteomic Fourm/EuPA 2022 (https://www.proteomic-forum.com/) az Európai Proteomikai Társaság (EuPA) éves konferenciája a legnagyobb európai szakmai fórum, ahol az elsősorban Európában tevékenykedő kutatók mutatják be munkájukat. A másik konferencia a Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) által szervezett proteomikai világkongresszus (https://www.hupo.org/event-3486003), ahol a világ minden tájáról a legjobb kutatók a legújabb eredményeiket mutatják be. Szakmai szempontból mindkét konferencia a legrangosabb a proteomika területén és a neves laboratóriumok mindegyike képviselteti magát. Általában viszonylag alacsony a magyar részvétel; saját és kutatócsoportom részvételével, és más hazai laboratóriumok tagjainak buzdításával szeretnék ezen változtatni. Mindkét konferencia kiváló lehetőség arra, hogy megismerhessük a legújabb kutatási eredményeket és fő kutatási irányokat. Poszterrel vagy beválogatás esetén előadással szeretnék részt venni a konferenciákon, mivel fontos számomra, hogy laboratóriumunk eredményeit és az elérhető lehetőségeket megismertessem a proteomikus nagyközönséggel. A részvételem másik célja a kapcsolatépítés. Mindkét konferencia Európa- és világviszonylatban a pandémia utáni első személyes jelenlétű proteomikai összejövetel lesz, ezért a személyes kapcsolatok ápolása és új kapcsolatok kialakítása szempontjából kiemelt fontosságú. Úgy gondolom, hogy a sikeres nemzetközi pályázati részvétel egyik fontos tényezője az én szakterületemen a megfelelő konzorciumi partnerek bevonása. Az EuPA vezetőségi tagjaként nagyon jó lehetőségem van a potenciális pályázati partnerek megismerésére, és ezt a lehetőséget szeretném kihasználni, hogy a közeljövőben sikeresen pályázhassak az európai forrásokra. Ezen kívül három Nyugat európai laboratóriummal szeretném megalapozni a hosszú távú kollaborációnkat és a közös Horizon Europe MSCA ITN, Twinning and Teaming és COST pályázatokat.

A Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) által szervezett proteomikai világkongresszus (https://www.hupo.org/event-3486003) évente kerül megrendezésre és a világ minden tájáról a legjobb kutatók a legújabb eredményeiket mutatják be. Általában viszonylag alacsony a magyar részvétel; saját és kutatócsoportom részvételével, és más hazai laboratóriumok tagjainak buzdításával szeretném növelni a hazai kutatók részvételét. Az európai- és a világkongresszus kiváló lehetőség arra, hogy megismerkedhessük a legújabb kutatási eredményekkel és a fő kutatási irányokkal. Ugyanakkor fontos számomra, hogy kutatócsoportunk eredményeit és az elérhető analitikai lehetőségeket megismertessem a proteomikus nagyközönséggel. A konferenciák, különösképp a vírushelyzet miatti állapotok miatti lezárások után ismét elérhetővé váló összejövetelek, kiváló lehetőséget biztosítanak a személyes kapcsolatok ápolására és az új kapcsolatok kialakítására. Fontosnak tartom a hazai részvételt erősíteni és a hazai proteomika eredményeit ismertetni az európai és a világ más tájain tevékenykedő kutatók körében. Ugyanakkor fontosnak tartom új kollaborációs kapcsolatok kialakítását, valamint stratégiai megbeszélések révén pályázati partnerek bevonásával olyan multikulturális hálózat szervezését, amely részeseként sikeresen pályázhatunk Európai Uniós forrásokra.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. My aim is to participate in two proteomics conferences. The Proteomic Fourm/EuPA 2022 (https://www.proteomic-forum.com/) is the annual meeting of the European Proteomics Association (EuPA) being the largest european scientific forum on the field of proteomics where researchers from all over Europe present their work. The HUPO 2022 World Congress (https://www.hupo.org/event-3486003), where proteomicists from all over the world are present, is organized by the Human Proteome Organization (HUPO). From a scientific point of view, both conferences are the best in the field of proteomics where the renowened labs participate and present their work. Unfortunately, the Hungarian attendance is usually low on these meetings. With my participation and by fostering the participation of the students and members of other Hungarian laboratories, I would like to increase the number of Hungarian participants. Both conferences provide an excellent opportunity to learn the latest research data and trends. For me, it is of outmost importance to present our results and the accessible analytical possibilities in our lab. This is why I would like to participate either with a poster or an oral presentation (depending on the decision of the scientific committee). My other aim with the presentation is the building of personal relations. Both meetings will be the first European/worldwide in-person meetings after the coronavirus-related restrictions, providing a good opportunity to strengthen personal relations. According to my oppinion, on my research field, the succesful international grant application can be achieved as part of an international network. As a member of the EuPA Executive Committee, I have a good opportunity to meet potential collaborators and partners. On the top of all these, I would like to start collaboration with three Western European laboratories and set the foundation of our future Horizon Europe MSCA ITN, Twinning and Teaming and COST grant applications.

Unfortunately, the Hungarian attendance is usually low on these meetings. With my participation and by fostering the participation of the students and members of other Hungarian laboratories I would like to increase the number of Hungarian participants. The European and the world congress provide an excellent opportunity to learn the latest research data and trends. At the same time, it is important for me to present our results and the accessible analytical possibilities. In-person conferences and scientific meetings, especially the first ones after the coronavirus-related restrictions, are well suited for building personal relations. One of my missions is to start strategic discussions with researchers from Western European laboratories aiming to form a multicultural network, which can apply for European Union grants.

Két rangos nemzetközi proteomikai konferencián terveztem részt venni a pályázat során, viszont a hirtelen módosult euró-forint és USA dollár-forint árfolyam csak egy konferencián való részvételre biztosított lehetőséget. A projekt keretén belül részt vettem a németországi Lipcsében megrendezett Proteomic Forum/EuPA 2022 konferencián. Szakmai szempontból ez a legnagyobb és a legrangosabb európai szakmai fórum, ahol a proteomika területén tevékenykedő kutatók mutatják be munkájukat és a neves laboratóriumok mindegyike képviselteti magát. Általában viszonylag alacsony a magyar részvétel; viszont a saját és kutatócsoportom részvételével, valamint más hazai laboratóriumok tagjainak buzdításával sikerült ezen változtatni. Az előző konferencián egyedüli magyarként képviseltem hazánkat, a 2022-ben megrendezett konferencián pedig 14 hazai résztvevő volt.
Ez a konferencia kiváló lehetőség volt arra, hogy megismerhessem a legújabb kutatási eredményeket és fő kutatási irányokat. A részvételem másik célja a kapcsolatépítés volt. Mivel Európa-viszonylatban a pandémia utáni első személyes jelenlétű proteomikai összejövetel volt, ezért a személyes kapcsolatok ápolása és új kapcsolatok kialakítása szempontjából kiemelt fontossággal bírt. A konferencia alatt részt vettem több potenciális pályázattal kapcsolatos megbeszélésen, amelyek során sikerült megalapozni a hosszú távú kollaborációt és megbeszélni a közösen beadandó nemzetközi pályázatok részleteit.

My aim was to participate in two proteomics conferences, but due to the dramatic change in EUR-HUF and USD-HUF currency, I could participate only in the Proteomic Forum/EuPA 2022 conference held in Leipzig, Germany. This conference is the largest European scientific forum in the field of proteomics where researchers from all over Europe present their work. From a scientific point of view, this conference is the best in the field of proteomics where renowned labs participate. Unfortunately, Hungarian attendance is usually low on these meetings. With my participation and by fostering the participation of the students and members of other Hungarian laboratories, I could increase the number of Hungarian participants. At the last conference I was the only participant from Hungary, while at the conference held in 2022, there were 14 participants from Hungary.
This conference provided an excellent opportunity for me to learn the latest research data and trends. My other aim was the building of personal relations. This meeting was the first European in-person meeting after the coronavirus-related restrictions, providing a good opportunity to strengthen personal relations. In my research field, a successful international grant application can be achieved as part of an international network. During the conference, I had the opportunity to meet potential collaborators and partners and we agreed to start a collaboration and set the foundation for our future grant applications.
