Summary in Hungarian
A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése
Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében.

A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára
Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről.

Kutatócsoportunk évek óta kutatja az extracelluláris vezikulákban rejlő tumordiagnosztikai potenciált, mint egy új, folyadékbiopszia alapú módszert - különösen a központi idegrendszeri daganatok tekintetében. A munkánk során olyan újszerű megközelítést alkalmazunk, mely az eddigi hagyományos diagnosztikai eljárásoknál (MRI, CT) pontosabban jelezheti egyes központi idegrendszeri daganatok jelenlétét és a kezelésre adott válaszreakcióját. Mindezt gyorsan, többször megismételhetően, a páciensek számára a legkevesebb terhet jelentve.

Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation
Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career.

ISEV Annual Meeting 2022 (Lyon, France) is an annual conference organised by the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles.
Participating researchers investigate extracellular vesicles from a variety of aspects. Scientific advances over the last decades have highlighted the central role of extracellular vesicles in intercellular communication in both normal physiological and pathological conditions. The number of studies focusing on extracellular vesicles has exploded, exploiting their potential in tumour diagnostics, biotechnology or molecular biology.
The aim of the conference is to present the most relevant and recent discoveries to a growing audience, laying the foundations for new collaborations and discoveries.
The aim of attending the conference is to present and discuss our latest results in extracellular vesicle research in the form of poster/presentation with researchers in the field. We will learn about the latest achievements and renowned researchers in the field and build collaborative relationships.

Summary and aims of the project for a general audience
Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results.

ISEV Annual Meeting 2022 (Lyon, France) is an annual conference organised by the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles. There has been an explosion of research focusing on extracellular vesicles, exploiting their potential in tumour diagnostics, biotechnology or molecular biology. The aim of the conference is to present the most relevant and recent discoveries to a growing audience, laying the foundations for new collaborations and discoveries.
For many years, our research group has been exploring the tumour diagnostic potential of extracellular vesicles as a new liquid biopsy-based method - especially for central nervous system tumours. Our work uses a novel approach that can more accurately indicate the presence of certain CNS tumours and their response to treatment than conventional diagnostic techniques (MRI, CT). All this can be done quickly, repeatedly and with the least burden for the patient.
Because of the innovative nature of our approach, we believe it is important to get feedback from internationally recognised researchers. The ISEV Annual Meeting provides us with a perfect opportunity to gather constructive criticism and experience, which will help us to lay the foundations for a method that could later become a routine procedure in clinical practice.

Final report

Results in Hungarian
A projekt során a MEC-R finanszírozásának köszönhetően a kutatócsoport meglátogatta a Lyonban megrendezendő (Franciaország) ISEV2022 konferenciát. A konferencia során poszter formában prezentációt tartozzunk a szérumból izolált Raman spektroszkópiai vizsgálatáról. A ISEV2022 konferencia remek lehetőségnek bizonyult kapcsolatépítésre.
Results in English
During the project, thanks to MEC-R funding, the research team visited the ISEV2022 conference in Lyon (France). During the conference, a poster presentation on Raman spectroscopy of serum isolated from serum was given. Following the presentation of the poster, we engaged in fruitful professional conversations with a number of different research groups, among which were Polish physicists and biologists. This exposure has opened up quite a number of opportunities for our research group, such as setting up an international database. The ISEV2022 conference proved to be a great opportunity for networking.
