A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Európa egyik legismertebb SP Centrumában tartandó workshopra az orvoskarok és képzési központok munkatársait várják, akik el kívánják sajátítani a szükséges ismereteket és készségeket a szimulációs betegekkel (SP-k) folytatott munkához. A workshop oktatói nemzetközileg elismert szakemberek az SP módszertan, és általában is az orvosképzés módszertanának területén. Az általuk közvetített gyakorlati ismeretek és módszertan jelenleg hazánkban nem elsajátíthatóak. Karunk Szimulációs Beteg Programjának vezetőjeként fontos számomra a szakterületen elérhető legfrissebb tudás elsajátítása, és a megszerzett tudás multiplikátorként való továbbadása a hazai szakmai team számára: szerep-skriptek fejlesztése gyakorlatorientált kurzusok és standardizált (OSCE) vizsgák számára, SP-k képzése, kiegyensúlyozottan magas színvonal fenntarthatóságának feltételei. További jelentősége a workshopnak a networking lehetőség a karunkon kiépítendő SP-központunk számára.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Az orvosképzésben nagyobb hangsúlyt kell helyezni jól kommunikáló orvosok képzésére. A betegek az orvosokat elsősorban kommunikációjuk alapján ítélik meg, ezért elengedhetetlenül fontos a hallgatók folyamatos kommunikációs képzése tanulmányaik alatt. A képzésen túl, a szakorvos-jelöltek és a szakorvosok képzésének és továbbképzésének is fontos része lehetne kommunikatív kompetenciájuk fejlesztése. A jól kommunikáló orvos kevesebb műhiba perbe keveredik, betegei követik a kezelésükkel kapcsolatos előírásokat, ezzel nagymértékben redukálódik a felesleges gyógyszerfelírások száma, a feleslegesen elrendelt vizsgálatok száma, és jelentős anyagi megtakarítás érhető el. A jól kommunikáló orvosok körében alacsonyabb a burn out, kiégés kockázata is. Amerikai és nyugat-európai orvosképző helyeken évtizedek óta bevált gyakorlat szimulációs betegek alkalmazása az orvosi kommunikáció gyakorlati oktatásában. A szimulációs betegek nem csak professzionális színészek lehetnek, hanem olyan laikusok, akiket egy-egy beteg-szerepre képeznek ki. Betegszerepükkel vesznek részt a kommunikációs gyakorlatokban, és a visszajelzések alapján, szinte 100%-ban valósághűen jelenítik meg a beteg perspektíváját. Képzésük fontos része a megfelelő visszajelzésre (feedback adásra) való kiképzésük is. A helyzetgyakorlatokat követően értékelik az orvos kommunikációs teljesítményét, visszajelzést adnak érzéseikről, félelmeikről, benyomásaikról, melyeket a beszélgetés során szereztek, javaslatot tesznek arra, mit lehetett volna másképp kommunikálni, és hogyan. Ezzel kivételes lehetősége adódik a hallgatóknak, illetve a szakembereknek, hogy szembesüljenek kommunikációs teljesítményükkel, mi az amit jól csinálnak, és mi az, ami még fejlesztésre szorul kommunikációjukban. Ez éles orvos-beteg szituációkban elképzelhetetlen lenne, ugyanakkor visszacsatolás nélkül nem tudhatja az orvos, hogyan hat kommunikációjával betegeire.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The workshop, to be held at one of Europe's best-known SP Centres, is open and designed for all staff members from medical schools and training centres interested in acquiring the required knowledge and skills for working with simulation patients (SPs). The trainers of the workshop are internationally recognised experts in the field of SP methodology and medical education methodology in general. The practical knowledge and methodology they impart are currently not available in our country. As the Head of the Simulation Patient Program of our faculty, it is important for me to acquire the latest knowledge available in this field and to transfer the acquired knowledge as a multiplier to the national professional team, including the development of role scripts for practice-oriented courses and standardized (OSCE) examinations, training of SPs, as well as the conditions for the sustainability of a balanced high quality. Another importance of the workshop is the networking opportunity for our SP centre to be established at our faculty.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. In medical training, more emphasis should be placed on training doctors who communicate well. Patients judge doctors primarily based on their communication, therefore, it is essential that students receive continuous communication training throughout their studies. In addition to training, developing the communicative competence of trainee and specialist doctors could also constitute an important part of their training and continuing education. A doctor who communicates well is less likely to be involved in malpractice suits, his patients follow the prescriptions for their treatment, thus greatly reducing unnecessary prescriptions, unnecessary tests, whereby significant financial savings can be achieved. Well- communicating doctors also have a lower risk of burn-out. The use of simulation patients in the practical teaching of medical communication has been a good practice in American and Western European medical schools for decades. Simulation patients may not only be professional actors but also lay people who are trained to play a specific patient role. They take part in communication exercises as patients and, based on feedback, represent the patient's perspective almost 100 percent realistically. Training them to give feedback is an important part of their training. Following the situational exercises, they evaluate the doctor's communication performance, give feedback on their feelings, fears, impressions gained during the conversation, and suggest what could have been communicated differently and how. Hereby, this unique opportunity enables students and professionals to reflect on their communication performance, what they are doing well and what they need to improve in their communication. This would be inconceivable in a sharp doctor-patient situation, however, without any feedback, a doctor will not know how his communication is affecting his patients.

There are three areas where the acquisition of the most up-to-date knowledge in the field is useful for me: 1. professional development of our faculty's SP-trainer team 2. building sustainable institutional frameworks and international relationships 3. training national SP-trainers as multipliers for medical and health training institutions.

internal methodological training: SP-training methodology, development of standardised role-scripts for practice-oriented communication courses and standardised so-called OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) examinations, setting criteria for the development of an assessment system for examiners
2. creation of a database: standardised SP roles, OSCE communication stations and evaluation forms; access to German and English databases (IMS database)
3. Establishment of an SP trainer program in Hungary: recruitment, casting and selection of SPs, theory and practice of feedback, structure and content of SP role, lessons with SPs: methodology, examination with SPs: structure of assessment criteria, quality assurance aspects
