A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A projekt keretében két konferenciát kívánok meglátogatni, az egyiket Chichesterben (Anglia), 2022 International Conference on Narrative, szervezi az International Society for the Study of Narrative, a másikat pedig Seattleben (USA), 2022 SIOP Annual Conference, szervezi a The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Mind a két konferencián elsősorban előadással szeretnék részt venni, azonban fenntartom a lehetőséget a poszter bemutatására is, a befogadástól függően. A két konferenciát az adott területen, illetve módszertanon belül a legnívósabb szervezetek szervezik. Mivel a projekt keretében vezetői sikerességet vizsgálok elsősorban narratív módszertannal, mind a két konferencia tökéletesen passzol a kutatásom fókuszához. A narratív konferencián számos módszertani újdonságot sajátíthatok el, a szervezetpszichológiai konferencián pedig a kutatási témát illetően tanulhatok újdonságokat. Mindemellett mind a két konferencia remek lehetőséget biztosít a már elismert kutatókkal való hálózatépítésre, gyümölcsöző kapcsolatok kialakítására, amelynek pozitív következményei lehetnek a jövőbeli tudományos előmenetelem szempontjából.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A projekt keretében két konferencíát kívánok meglátogatni, egyet Angliában (2022 International Conference on Narrative), egyet pedig az USA-ban (2022 SIOP Annual Conference). Az előbbi konferencia a narratív módszertan miatt, az utóbbi pedig a szervezetpszichológiai fókuszú tematika miatt lehet hasznos a projekten belül megvalósuló kutatás szempontjából. Célom amellett, hogy számos módszertani és szervezetpszichológiai újdonságot sajátítsak el, az, hogy ezekben a szakmailag elismert közösségekben prezentálhassam magam és a jövőbeli tudományos előmenetelem szempontjából gyümölcsöző kapcsolatokat teremthessek.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. During the project I would like to participate in two conferences. One will be held in Chichester (England), 2022 International Conference on Narrative, organized by the International Society for the Study of Narrative, and the other will be held in Seattle (USA), 2022 SIOP Annual Conference, organized by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In both conferences I would prefer to take part with a presentation, but would like to maintain the opportunity for poster presentations too, depending on the conference acceptance. Both conferences are going to be organized by the most professional societies within the field and both perfectly fit to my study's focus, because within the project I would like to examine leadership success with narrative methodology. In the narrative conference I would be able to master my skills within the narrative method and within the organizational psychology conference I would be able to acquire novel knowledge in this topic. Furthermore both conferences make a good opportunity to make networks and fruitful connections with professionally acknowledged researchers, which must be benefical for my future academic advancement.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. During the project I would like to participate in two conferences, one in England (2022 International Conference on Narrative), and one in the USA (2022 SIOP Annual Conference). Both conferences would be benefical for the study that will be realized within the project, the former conference will be benefical because it will be about the narrative methodology, the latter will be organized around the topic of organizational psychology. My aims are going to be to master my skills in narrative methods and in the topic of organizational psychology, furthermore to present myself within these professionally acknowledged communities and make fruitful connections for my future academic advancement.

A pályázat keretén belül az International Society for the Study of Narrative (ISSN) által szervezett 2022 International Conference on Narrative című konferencián vettem részt és tartottam előadást Angliában. A három napos konferencián a narratív kutatások sokszínű világába tekinthettem bele. Előadásomat a Narratives of Industry and Non-profits szekció keretén belül tartottam. Mivel kutatásom középpontjában narratív pszichológiai módszertan áll, magyar startup pitch-ek nyelvi elemzése, ennek köszönhetően a hallgatóságot nem csak a magyar nyelv különlegessége nyűgözte le, hanem a narratívumok multidiszciplináris alkalmazása is. A szekciómat követően sikeresen építettem kutatói kapcsolatokat Angliában és Hollandiában, aminek következtében meghívást kaptam a groningeni egyetem winter school egy hetes programjára (The Limits of Narrative), valamint sikeresen építettem nemzetközi kutatói együttműködéseket.
A pályázat segítségével megvalósuló konferenciarészvételem remek lehetőséget teremtett, hogy nemzetközi kutatói keretek között megjelenítsem, hogy a PTE-n a Pszichológia Intézetben a Narratív Pszichológiai Kutatócsoportunkban milyen értékes és nem mindennapi kutatások zajlanak, amelyek nemzetközileg is megállják a helyüket és világviszonylatban is egyedülállónak számítanak. Továbbá a személyes szakmai és akadémiai fejlődésem szempontjából is számos pozitív hozadéka van a projektnek, amelyeket remélhetőleg gyümölcsöző kutatói együttműködésekben kamatoztatni fogok tudni.

As part of the project, I attended and presented a paper at the 2022 International Conference on Narrative, organised by the International Society for the Study of Narrative (ISSN) in England. The three-day conference gave me an insight into the diverse world of narrative research. My presentation was part of the session Narratives of Industry and Non-profits. As my research centres on narrative psychology methodology, a linguistic analysis of Hungarian start-up pitches, the audience was not only impressed by the specificity of the Hungarian language, but also by the multidisciplinary application of narratives. Following my session, I successfully built up research contacts in England and in Netherlands, which led to an invitation to a one-week winter school programme at the University of Groningen ("The Limits of Narrative") and to fruitful research collaborations in the future.
My participation in the conference, with the funding by the project, was an excellent opportunity to present to an international audience the valuable and unusual research that is being carried out at the University of Pécs in the Institute of Psychology by our Narrative Psychology Research Group, which is also internationally and globally unique. Furthermore, the project has many positive benefits for my personal professional and academic development, which I hope I will be able to exploit in fruitful research collaborations.
