Summary in Hungarian A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése
Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében.
Az utazások célja, hogy posztdoktori kutatásaim eredményeit bemutassam egy poszter és egy előadás formájában két nemzetközi konferencián, valamint, hogy elősegítsem a nemzetközi kapcsolatok kiépülését. Az ISSBD olyan nemzetközi szervezet, melynek a világ több mint 60 országában vannak tagjai, és melynek küldetése az élethosszon át tartó fejlődés tudományos kutatásának előmozdítása. A kongresszus aktívan támogatja a különböző tudományágak közti párbeszéd kiépítését. Az első, vegyes módszerekkel készült, kvalitatív és kvantitatív elemeket is tartalmazó kutatást először 2020-ban terveztem bemutatni az ISSBD2020-on, azonban a járványhelyzet miatt a konferencia sajnos elmaradt, ugyanakkor az adatokat azóta bővítettük, így az eredményeket szeretném bemutatni az újonnan meghirdetett ISSBD2022 konferencián. Ez a konferencia külön lehetőséget nyújt a karrierfejlesztésre fiatal kutatók számára, valamint más, a témában érdekelt kutatókkal való kapcsolatépítésre. Jó nemzetközi reputációja mellett azért esett a választásom erre a konferenciára, mert fő irányvonala (behavioural development) erőteljesen kapcsolódik a jelenlegi munkahelyem (ELTE PPK) profiljához, így a konferencián megszerzett state-of-the-art tudást az osztatlan tanári, illetve pszichológia szakos hallgatóknak át tudom adni. Emellett a konferencia idén egy új témát is magában foglal ("topics of global concern that affect developing individuals’ lives, such as climate change, globalization, migration, catastrophic events”), ez pedig kimondottan illeszkedik posztdoktori témámhoz. A WEEC-en való részvétel elősegítené, hogy a nemzetközi kutatói térben is erősítsük az ELTE PPK hírnevét a környezeti neveléssel kapcsolatos kutatások terén, ugyanis a WEEC-kongresszusok a legjelentősebb nemzetközi szintű, a környezeti nevelés területén tevékenykedő valamennyi szereplő összekapcsolására vállalkozó rendezvények. A részvétel lehetővé tenné a lehetséges jövőbeli kutatási/pályázási együttműködések kialakítását.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára

A pályázat révén két nemzetközi konferencián fogok részt venni, ahol angol nyelven, a világ minden tájáról érkező szakemberek körében mutatom be az ELTE-n a klímaváltozás pszichológiai vonatkozásaival kapcsolatban végzett kutatásaim legfontosabb eredményeit. Az egyik konferencia (26th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development, ISSBD2022), egy fejlődéspszichológiai fókuszú konferencia, ahol idén már kiemelt téma lesz a klímaváltozás fejlődésre kifejtett hatása is. A konferencián megszerzett tudást mindennapi oktatói munkámba is be tudom építeni az osztatlan tanárképzés és pszichológia szakos kurzusok tudásanyagának frissítése révén. A másik, környezeti nevelésre összpontosító konferencia (11th World Environmental Education Congress, WEEC) világviszonylatban a legnagyobb ilyen témájú rendezvény, amely során lehetőségem nyílik a nemzetközi kutatói kapcsolatok még erősebb kiépítésére. 2003 óta a WEEC Hálózat 10 világkongresszust szervezett, amelyeken több mint 100 különböző országból több ezer ember vett részt: egyetemi oktatók, kormánytisztviselők, nemzetközi szervezetek, újságírók, politikai képviselők, vállalkozások, nem kormányzati szervezetek. Ez a résztvevői sokféleség lehetőséget ad arra, hogy számos nemzetközi jó gyakorlatot megismerjek a konferencia révén a klasszikus alapkutatásokon túl is.
| Summary Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation
Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career.
The purpose of the travels is to present the results of my postdoctoral research in the form of a poster and a presentation at two international conferences, and to facilitate the development of international collaborations. The ISSBD is an international organisation with members from over 60 countries around the world, whose mission is to promote scientific research on human development throughout the lifespan. Their biennial conference actively promotes the development of dialogue between different disciplines. I had planned to present the first mixed-methods study, including both qualitative and quantitative elements, at ISSBD2020 in 2020, but unfortunately, the conference was cancelled due to the epidemic situation. However, our data has since been expanded and I would like to present the updated results at the newly announced ISSBD2022 conference. This conference will provide a special opportunity for career development for young researchers, as well as networking with other researchers interested in the topic. In addition to its good international reputation, I chose this conference because its main focus (behavioural development) is strongly related to the profile of my current workplace (ELTE PPK), so I can transfer the state-of-the-art knowledge I have acquired at the conference to my undergraduate students in education and psychology. In addition, the conference will include a new theme this year ("topics of global concern that affect developing individuals' lives, such as climate change, globalization, migration, catastrophic events"), which fits to my post-doctoral research. Participation in WEEC would help to strengthen the reputation of ELTE PPK in the international research arena in the field of environmental education research, as the WEEC congresses are the most important international events that bring together all actors in the field of environmental education. Participation would allow the development of possible future research collaborations.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience
Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results.
The grant will enable me to participate in two international conferences, where I will present the most important results of my research on the psychological aspects of climate change at ELTE, in English, to a global audience of experts. One of the conferences (26th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development, ISSBD2022) is a developmental psychology-focused conference, where the developmental impact of climate change will be a major theme this year. I will be able to incorporate the knowledge gained at the conference into my everyday teaching work by updating the materials of my teacher training and psychology courses. The other conference, the 11th World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC), is the largest conference on environmental education in the world and participating in this conference will give me the opportunity to build even stronger international research collaborations. Since 2003, the WEEC Network has organised 10 world congresses, where thousands of people from more than 100 different countries attended: academics, government officials, international organisations, journalists, political representatives, businesses, NGOs. This diversity of participants gives the opportunity to learn about a wide range of international good practices through the conference, beyond the classical basic research.
